Due to overwhelming demand we are releasing information a bit early, so check back with this thread for the most timely facts about this year's events. Still holding the record for largest event ever in the state of Louisiana, the Pot of Gold is a major regional disc golf event showcasing the best that New Orleans disc golf has to offer. 5 live bands will take the stage at this year's event, giving the tournament a festival-like atmosphere once again. The showcase, free, New Orleans-style lunch buffet caters to all the masses. Every amateur division player gets a green or black tournament t-shirt. All divisions will play 24 holes at Lafreniere Park and 18 holes at City Park. Free lunch for all players featuring Hooters hot wings, cajun jambalaya, Walker's BBQ pulled pork, Gordon Biersch brews, Quality P cobbler and more. The other discs are donated to local kids that come out and to Christian brothers school in city park, who happens to have their own 9 hole course right across the street from our course.
