Weekly tosses in your area This was a valuable thread for me last year so I thought we should have another one this year. It just makes it easier for those traveling throughout the Southern National area to find a weekly toss or tourney without having to wade through 20 threads covering the entire area. FLORIDA In the PENSACOLA area: Sunday mornings at Blue Angel Park with Wally, KC, Smoothie and the gang. A casual friendly round. Might be doubles, or singles depending on who all shows and how much money they're willing to wager. Usually starts around 7:30am or so with a second round later. Wednesday Doubles at 5:00pm at Sunset Park In Gulf Breeze, Florida. Join Mike Florey and the gang for a competitive round of random draw doubles. Basic entry fee is $5 with an additional optional $1 Ace Pot & $1 Birdie Fund available. Thursday Fling For Food Round at 4:30pm at Sunset Park in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Entry fee is a non-perishable food item or $2 if you forget your food. All entry fees will be donated to the Manna Food Bank in Pensacola. $1 optional Ace Pot is available. It will be starting at $101, as it was not hit late last season. Emerald Coast Disc Golf Club Bag Tags are on the line each week. Food toss is $3 or 3 canned goods and benifits the local food bank. There are optional Birdie/Ace pots at $1 each Current Ace pot is now over $70 not sure on the Birdie pot.

Doubles is a $5 buy in with $1 going to the club, $4 to payout. There are also optional Bidie/Ace pots at $1 each. Birdie pot is currently ~$35 and Ace pot is ~$38 if I remember right. The men also have a bag tag challenge at the same time but play the original course. We cut off sign ups at 1:00 so we can get cards made. Tags are sold for $20 and it cost $5 for the round. We also have a pay out. The first week of each month we have a pot luck afterwards if you want to participated.

Can't wait to start up our weekly Fling For Food round at Sunset Park in beautiful Gulf Breeze, Florida. This will be our fifth year of giving back to our community

Start date is 3/15/12, we'll play through Halloween or so. Start time will be 4:30, for now. We will push that out once the days get a little longer.

We'll play 3 weeks a month at Sunset. The 1st Thursday of each month we'll take a road trip to BAP, UWF & NLA in a rotating basis.

Due to construction & until further notice, the Sunset rounds will play holes #1 - #12. Then #2 - #10 again, for a 21 hole round. We can switch up tee boxes first to second rounds on holes #2 - 10, to add variety. We'll roll w/ that for a few weeks until the days get a little longer allowing for us to add holes #17 & 18 for a 23 hole round. We'll play that 'til daylight prohibits or construction mandates a change in
plans.

Emerald Coast Disc Golf Club bag tags will be on the line each week. You don't need one to play, but it adds to the fun. They are $10 each and our clubs primary fundraiser each year. I have a few more available and will get more soon.

Entry fee is adjusting slightly this year. You can still play for $2, if you don't bring food. Those using non-perishable food items will be asked to bring two items, instead of one, as their entry fee. This will allow us to make even more of a positive influence in our community.

Ace Pot is still rolling from last year. We currently have $47 & a $2 scratch-off in the kitty.

I have several cool ctp prizes to donate to the first round. Please join us for a good cause & a good time.
