This event is the first tournament of the 2011-2012 SN season, and a great way to start off the season's point race! It's been a few days so I have a couple things to say so bare with me. First off, let me thank the small dedicated group of guys that's been out there in this heat working their butts off. Special thanks to Jason Asby and Sandman who I know have been out there almost every day ensuring that we will have the quality courses that this tournament and its competitors deserve. Mother nature has fought back, but we were bound and determined to have this event as scheduled this year. So again, thanks to everyone who has lent a hand at the park.

Cash doubles is still on as scheduled for Friday. Tee off is from 3:00-5:30 pm. Entry fee is $20.00 a team. (Bring your own partner) There will be two divisions, Open and Amateur with 100% payout!!!!

A local has expressed interest in selling hamburger plates Saturday...let me know if anyone is interested so I can get back with them about it.

We are not offering player's packs this year due to a lack of sponsorship. No one really thought the river was going to let us have the tournament this year, but we'll show them...by having a GREAT tournament anyway!!!

There will be a Vegas Style Ace Pot for all three rounds...Buy in is $1 to $5 per round. If no one hits an Ace, we will do a throw off at the end of the tournament.

I will probably post again tonight so check the forums for more updates as they come in!!!

P.S. For everybody coming in from out of town, I just wanted to say be careful on your way in. I've seen a lot of tickets being given out in town lately...so don't speed in Monroe or West Monroe!!!
