I would like to thank everyone who came out to Columbia for its innaugural tournament. We had a great turnout with 51 competitiors coming over, nearly all of which came from way out of town. Thanks to all the guys from Mobile, Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Jackson who made the trip. I hope you all liked the course and come back again soon to face the challenge of the Pearl River Landing DGC.

The New Columbia Course Pearl River Landing DGC (18 holes) joins
Duncan Lake DGC (18 holes) in the downtown Hattiesburg area
Tatum Park (18 Holes-9 new) near the South Hattiesburg Exit on 59
Paul B. Johnson State Park (27 Holes - 9 new) South of Hattiesburg on 49
Ashe Lake DGC (18 hole course and 9 hole Handicapped/beginner course) About 10 miles South of Paul B. just off Hwy 49 in Brooklyn MS
Windy Hills DGC (19 Holes) On PRCC Campus in Poplarville.
Rusty Tractor Ridge (9 holes Private) Only friends of Skoal (Skye & Joel Morgan) get to play this Jewel.
Collins City Park (18 Holes) Under construction by Ransom Jones

As you can see it may have taken us a while to get going, but Hattiesburg is now a disc Golf Destination. Take advantage of the great weather by Camping at PBJ, or Desoto National Forest along the Black Creek and "PLAY EM ALL".

Good Luck with the Tourney. The course is technical and sweet. I've traveled over to play 3 times already, and hope to have many more soon.

From HWY 98 in Foxworth (just outside Columbia) take MS HWY 35 North. The park is down on the left about 6 miles from HWY 98. Look for the brown sign that says Water Park, and the big white water tower.

Once you have turned off of HWY 35, go into the park and take your first left. Follow this road around the ballfields and you will come to a maintenance barn on your left. Park near it, and start on hole 1 behind the maintenance barn. Hole 10 is to the side of the maintence barn, beside hole 1.

I challenge everyone and anyone to come shoot in the 40's on this course!! It will be hard for even the best! It can be a beast!
