There were a total of 53 players participating in the 13th Annual Turkey Shoot. Total entry fees $1,705. Total Payout *$1,705. (*Payout total does not include a T-shirt and Huggie for every player, the cost of the free lunch provided, Turkey C.T.P.s, Ring of Fire prizes, or the price of the trophies.) We appreciate all the sponsors and volunteers who helped make this event happen. Thanks go out to everybody working with me as I shifted the format in order to allow everyone to finish playing before the bad weather moved in. Alright...the big week is finally here! The courses are looking great, thanks to Sandman, Pappy and all the other volunteers! I just wanted to run down the basic tournament information to make sure that everybody is on the same page.

***To make sure we get everybody home early... tee off and players meeting have both been moved up an hour..the player's meeting will be Saturday November 26, 2011 at 8:45 am, with the first round starting at 9:00 am at
Lazarre Park on 703 South Riverfront Drive, West Monroe, LA 71291.

***We will be providing a free lunch consisting of Hooter's hot wings, sandwiches, and sodas.

***We will have some water on site for players.

***Don't forget T-shirts are available for the first 50 players to sign up*. (*Must sign up in person. I will be out there Friday afternoon for early sign up.)

***There will be a first place plaque offered for 11 divisions. No other places will receive plaques. As usual this event will be 100% payout in every division. We are not deducting the cost of the shirts, plaques, or anything else from the entry fees...it all goes back out to the players.

***There may also be a cash doubles Friday if there is enough interest.

***All Novice and Juniors will receive a disc for signing up!!!

***We will be doing CTP's for frozen turkeys (It is called the Turkey Shoot after all!!!) This tradition has been around long before I was playing disc golf, so I hope you all come out and try to win one!!!

***There will be a Ring of Fire after the tournament and Vegas Style Ace-Pots during the two rounds with a $5 limit...
