First, thanks to Jack White for all of his help over the years I have been involved with Disc GOlf. The condition of the courses for this event were due, in a large part to him, with an assist form Jody and myself.

Also like to thank Robert for taking care of the leader board, the reason the flow was so smooth is because of how the board was set up!

Saturday. while waiting for his group to hole out on hole 18 at Warrior Ridge, Justin hear someone call for help. Turning around, he notices a boy on the pier, leaning over, apparently hangng on to something, he started walking towards him when the boy made eye contact and yelled out "help me"

At this Justing ran to the pier to see that he was holding his Grandfathers head out of the water, just barely. Justin took control of the situation, jumping into the very cold water to free the mans legs from the pier supports while the grandson continued to keep his head above water.

Joshua arrives at this time, luckly, to help get the Grandfaher on the pier deck. Justin immediately begins CPR, remembering the class he attended eight years ago! As this is going on, having ben notified of a problem, Bill Brekeen arrives to assist, with the EMT's arriving soon after.

Bill told me that the man did not look good and they could not find a pulse.

The Grandfather made it to the Hospital ICU before passing later that evening. He would have never made it that far if not for the intervention of these two Disc Golfers! Thanks guys!

This was an amazing event in a lot of ways, There was a great response from our sponsors, we were able to DOUBLE the skins for the Final Five to $100 per hole!

After paying for the Southern National sanctioning fees ($2 per player), the Park Entry fees ($3 per player), the Plaques ($140), we were able to add another $12.50 per player (73 players) back into the purse.

Entry fees with the cash added in totaled $4020, $140 for plaques, $500 for the Final Five , $100 for CTP's, for a total tournament value of $4760

I had the honor to meet many new players from all points of the compass, see many that I have not seen for a while, it just doesn't get any better
than that!

Well, I wanted to get the report out, so, without further delay, please find the results of the 15th Annual Tishomingo Spring Tourney below. If there are any misspelled names or errors, please contact me or John Kittrell to correct them.
