As far as the statement about revoking and age protected division player, I agree with Mr. Gary Wagoner.

Looking at a player who tears it up consitantly all year and wind teh SNAC, perhaps it is time to move up.

One of the ways to facilitate these moves is to flatten the payout so the first place guy, or girl, does not need five friends to carry his winnings for him, or her. As long as the booty is there, someone will be pushing the envelope to keep cashing in.

There are a lot of issues that need to be addressed to get the Southern Nationals back on track to the future that few envision.

LoL Tommy if you only knew. Word on the street is that some people are being told the number of votes collected so far in this election. I mean why not keep having elections that are compromised? It's an SN tradition. Why would anyone expect the SN to improve if the vote counters can't be trusted?

I wish more of the people who play tons of SN tournaments would volunteer their time, energy, and experience for BOD as well. You made a very good point. It is certainly an important commitment. To be quite honest, that is one thing that I am considering in my vote. I want people who travel SN land to be in the BOD. These are the folks who will get the most input from the players; not just from this forum.

I have not voted yet, because I am waiting to vote at the SNPs in Mobile. I'm hoping to learn more about each candidate.

What I do have to offer is an open mind for new ideas and an open ear to the players and TDs. I have ideas, but I am here to represent the wishes of the players as a board member.

New Orleans has been using the same entry fee for all am divisions for nearly two years now and we are drawing big fields at every event. You should get out of the house more often. I think the list could also be used constructively by existing TDs to see how they "measure up".....
