I apologize to the women, they played a final six but the scores weren't posted on the cards, sorry. The final six didn't affect the standings. I also apologize for any name that was misspelled/slaughtered - blame Mikey P.

That's it thanks to all who participated. It was a great weekend. Thanks once again to Jim Orum for originating our own tournament series and to the volunteers for this weekend including the always there Mike Preston and Cecil McGuire for the food and a beautiful Chickasaw course. Jim's trying to get the Am tournament to Hattiesburg next year. See you next year. Later

I would just like to say thanks to Mr. Jim and everyone else down in Mobile who helped to make this year's SNC a great success. I myself hade an outstanding time and I'm sure the same goes for the rest of the Hattiesburg crew that was fortunate enough to make it down. I would also like to thank "the King" for all of the work he put into the Chickasaw course to have it in tip top shape for the tourney, also for the drinks and hot dogs. Cecil your doing a beautiful job down in Chickasaw, keep up the good work! Also I would like to thank all of the players who participated and behaved so well, I didn't here of any complaints about drinking or any other activities of that nature. Way to go guys! This is something we must all remember to do, because if we want disc golf to grow into the great sport we all know it can be, we have got to set a good example and obey the rules that the parks have laid on us. I would also like to add that the final six holes was a great idea (whoever came up with it), that really adds a twist to the end of the tournament. Also I would like to give a shout-out to Mr. Mike Preston for his words of advice that proved to be the difference maker for me in the final six holes. Just when I started to get nervous and feel the butterflies, Mr. Mike told me to just do what I had been doing all weekend and don't try to do things that I know I couldn't do. Thanks Mr. Mike for always being there when we need a little advice or a little confidence booster. Although we don't say it much, it is a true privilege to have you on tour with us. Thanks again for a great weekend! C-yall soon!

The Chicksaw course has changed resently to create some distance between the golfers and the school behind the front nine. Holes 4 - 7 are shorter, and hole 8 is a straight shot through two patches of trees. There was also an ace in the b pool at Chikasabouge during the third round but I'm not sure who made it or what hole. If anyone knows please post there name so they can get the props they deserve. Otherwise I'll try to find out.....

Later
