When to replace a BOD member?

I noticed from the last minutes posted that only four members were present at that meeting. The Board was set up to operate with six people, not four or five.

I say if a Board member misses three consecutive meetings or four meetings within a year, it is time to replace that member. There is no way that a member who consistantly misses meetings should have a vote in the important and delicate matters handled by the BOD.

Mac,
You might want to post this on the general discussion forum. I'm not sure how many people look over here on a regular basis. You KNOW on the other forum this would get a lot of comments for the active members of the BOD to consider.
