Southern Nations Board Meeting Minutes from April 5, 2006 Board members John Kittrell, Bob Satter, Bill McCarty, Russ Corey and Zack Hudson were present. Board member Robert "Mac" McDonald was absent due to recent rotator cuff surgery. No official action was taken at the meeting. The following is a summary of the evening's discussion: 1. The baskets purchased from Innova for the Southern Nationals Amateur Championships will be delivered to Mobile whenever Chris Lasonde needs them. The remaining baskets will be sent to Holly Springs for the SN Doubles Championship whenever Zack Hudson needs them. The cost will be covered by Southern Nationals sanctioning fees. 2. Board members offered their assistance to SNAC/PC Tournament Director Chris Lasonde. Chris is encouraged to contact individual board members if their help is needed. 3. The board agreed to allow the SNAC/PC TD to solicit sponsorships from other disc manufacturers to provide product for the events if desired. 4. SN Board members expressed their intent to attend the championships. 5. The board will soon be publishing the guidelines for the SN Championships and a list of future goals. 6. SN Treasurer John Kittrell reported that there is approximately $7,000 in the SN account for BOTH the SNAC and SNPC. There have been 75 events played to this date, however, sanctioning fees have only been collected from 50 events. Kittrell said he will be emailing tournament directors to remind them to pay their sanctioning fees. The 2005-06 SN season ends May 31. 7. Zack Hudson reported that SN player Jeff Tannehill's (Tupelo, MS) father has passed away. The board extends their condolences to Jeff and his family. 8. The next board meeting is scheduled for April 5 at 8 p.m. CDT. 9. The board also agreed to compose a list of other items voted on in previous meetings and publish it to the membership. 10. We used to list events that had not paid up. Of course, back then, we didn't list results until the fees were paid. Now we attempt to get the results up ASAP.

I personally would not be against marking which events have paid their fees.
