I had a blast. I love this course. Very sore though after 2 rds of it.

I lost a white Gazelle on gold 12 may have went in water. If someone finds and returns it to me I will pay $40 for it back

Just an idea for the next tournament out there please have the course more detailed on which holes not to play and if it was made clear in the players meeting then only 3 groups must have been listening because the rest of the am teams didn't hear that two stroke penalty that wasn't going to effect our score definatly did in the end cost us second place and a rough start to the second round not to take away from any of the other players who played but my partner and I had a rough start to the second round.

I had played the course once before, but I found the tee sign for hole 15 to be plenty detailed. I'm sure you guys just stepped up and threw at the closest basket, but on a course you are unfamiliar with, you should ask or walk down the fairway. Both the tee sign and course map showed where the basket was and although they weren't the best looking, they showed the locations good.

I had fun Chip, it was a good tourney. I enjoyed the course and the nice weather. Thanks for raising money for the SN Doubles Championships as well.

How did it cost you 2nd place when the 2nd place team also got stroked?

I agree. The sign clearly showed the basket being beyond the tree line

They were one of the three teams to not get stroked the top two teams didn't get strokes the rest of the teams did

We walked up on four other teams and all said that they played the same basket we watched two teams play the same hole and the guys that we played with had also played the course and didn't know which basket to play so the people who were all infront of us played the same basket.
Re: Lake Lowndes Gold Doubles April 7th

Im just curious what went through your head when you walked right past that basket on the way to 16 teepad. We had a very bad start to the first round and if I could make an excuse for it I would, but we played the right basket on 15. We would have loved to take the guaranteed birdie on the old basket but threw around to the right one and took a three. From the second half of the first round all the way to the end of the tourney we were 2 down. just hard to make up for six stokes. As far as the penalty strokes, I believe all the top five teams got stroked so it affected your placing not at all.
