Don't forget to add this to your calendar as well as the Roc A Cure Relay for Life fundraiser tournament the next day in Collins. A great chance for you to grab points for two tournaments on the same weekend.

Hello out there my Southern National brothers and sisters. The State Games of Mississippi welcomes you to Hattiesburgs most popular "City Course". I know you all know and love Paul B. Johnson State park and always support our tournaments there, but come take a look at the other area courses which have been recently developed. Tatum park in a tightly wooded and technical course. Not too long, so you guys who suffer from "Distance Envy" will not be at a disadvantage here. In addition to Paul B's 27 holes (Desert Fox and the Little Fox), Ashe lake DGC about 5 miles south of PBJ, and conveniently located on Black Creek, a great canoeing and camping destination. Other area courses which have been developed in the past 2 years include, Duncan Lake 18 holes in Downtown Hattiesburg area, The Rusty Tractor (9 hole Private course owned by Ken Dickenson, Skye and Joel Morgan), Pearl River landing in Columbia which has hosted several tournaments recently, and City park in Collins MS, site for Sundays Roc a Cure Tourney. Both Columbia and Collins are about 30 min from Hattiesburg and we look forward to showing you our newest additions to the Hub City Disc Golf scene. Come on down and double up on your SNDG points as well as your Fun.

Looking forward to seeing all our Buds this Saturday and Sunday,
Where ya at:
Brooks, Harrison, Leo Otto, J-Mart, E-Day, and Pascagoula and Gautier Disc Golf Addicts. Come on up and getcha some!!!

Several JUDGES will be making the trip to Tatum this Saturday. I've never played the course, so could someone give some directions to getting there from Jackson? Thanks and looking forward to the tourney.

My question was answered on the HDGA Facebook page:

"coming from Jackson take 49 all the way into Hattiesburg. Take the Hwy 11 exit towards Purvis. Take a left at the third red light. This is a new red light and may or may not be turned on. This is Parkway drive and takes you straight into the park."

"OR, you can jump on 59 South when you get into the burg, roll past the Hwy 98/Hardy street exit, and get off at the South Hattiesburg exit(Hwy 11) and take a left, and roll past the YMCA and then take a right into the park at the new lights that are being installed."
