i seriously cant imagine canceling this championship. i am in favor of refunds if people want them. if the storm doesn't destroy the 4 courses we plan on playing then come back friday and sign up.

Per the most recent update for Tropical Storm Isaac, it looks like Mobile will just get some winds and rain, no serious effects. That of course could change at any time, but SNPC2012 for now is a go!

I implore all out-of-town registrants to check your weather situation closely. It looks like Isaac will take up a lot of LA and MS Thursday night through midday Friday.

PLEASE TRAVEL CAREFULLY. Go around the storm if you have to.


All players pre-registered who are unable to attend SNPC2012 in Mobile will get a FULL REFUND sent back to you next week.

It was supposed to be a Med/high cat 2. Now its just going tl be a border lane cat1-cat2. So yes weaker.

Have you been through ANY Hurricane??? Speaking for someone that can't tell the difference between 100 and 120 mph caine tell me how this is a med/........event.....?

Lol, yes I've been through many of hurricanes. Hell even sat in pcola for over a month with no power/gas/ had to eat MREs an get bottled water an ice from pjc. But what that has to do with this is beyond me. Just simply stating the storm is getting weaker then what it was projected to be.

Because of recent renovations to the course and the threat of the storm, the original idea of a Super South layout with different tees and pins was scrapped. The course, for this tournament only, is being moved to its original positions, though with three differences. Please pardon our progess as the University expands its campus.


Holes 1-5: Original.
Hole 6: A new temp hole in the transition from 5 to original 6.
Hole 7: Original Hole 6.
Hole 8: New hole cut throw the woods to the other end of the left parking lot.
Holes 9-18: Original

Player's Party Information:

Saturday, September 1st - 6:00pm - 9:00pm at The Shed Barbeque & Blues Joint located across the street from University of South Alabama Campus.

There will be a live band!

Keg beer will be available at no charge to the players, until it's gone.

Putting Contest will take place at Player's Party. We will also display the player standings at the party!

Boy.. I hope not.. I see a lot of upset people being booked already for hotels ect ect. UNLESS.. the courses are unplayable.. which one day won't make a difference either. Would like to hear some updates though..

Lol selfish, I'm in the same boat as the rest of the people who have tossed down money to come play. An hell I even did it just to support the event. Ill be lucky to not finish dead last. But I paid up an gonna give it a shot just to support the championship. So don't talk about selfish to me.
