As I see it the money for the trophy had to come from somewhere. If Tony had deducted say $10 from each player to make it look like everyone contributed to the trophy it still would have pulled $600 from the payout. The winning team would have probably received the same amount of money if that were the case. I for one was at the tournament and can say that Tony put on one heck of an event. It was well organized and the volunteers were fantastic and greatly appreciated.
