WOW! What a great time had by all. The weather cooperated and mostly kept the direct sun off of us and best of all NO RAIN! What an experience it is to play at the La Cote Disc Golf Course. The course goes in an around an entire community of very friendly and cooperative neighbors. There are horses and cows on the course and they seem to love the disc golfers slinging discs all around them. The horse actually thought he was free for a moment but Keith caught him before he got too far. The food included Hooters wings and hamburgers the size of cow patties. There was a giant container of Jambalaya with beans and wings and bread. Southern Star Brewery from Conroe, Texas provided the Blonde Bombshells, a very good tasting microbrew, thanks Joe! The course had all the length any Pro could ask for; the basket placements were awesome, and the ground was not really that bad. The Blues music playing the entire time of the tournament was extra special sort of setting a very laid back attitude by the golfers. I saw people moving to the music as they waited to tee off and/or while they were lining up their putt. Keith and Audrey and the entire Simon Lane neighborhood were very accommodating to about 64+ disc golfers. The raffles were awesome and it was really good to see Brooks win the LSU raffle since he is the biggest LSU fan I know.

On top of everything was the reason for the tournament which was to raise money for a fallen angel. Keith and his family have a very big heart and thanks to everyone who made this a very special event. I know his family appreciates all the support shown by the players.

Word of advice: Don't ever miss a tournament at La Cote Disc Golf course.

Thanks Keith

Results are on the site, any corrections pm me or email at johnk@sndg.org

Also there are several vague/ambiguous names such as ninja, dane, mark and sean, as stated in the new handbook:

2.3 Player's points awarded in a SNDG qualifier tournament are recorded in the division the player is registered for or in the Section 1 listed division the results are combined with. It is the players responsibility to ensure that the players points are reflected accurately in the tournament results for SNDG Championship qualification purposes. Nicknames or one word names such as Madonna or Mike or just last names must be verifiable against an individual player or else they can't be used to determine eligibility. Example that if a TD does not specify a players first and last name in the submitted results but lists a result for Mike W., Mike W. isn't specific enough to determine the players identity in regard to SNDG Championship qualification. Any person so affected should contact the TD or SNDG stats person to correct the name to reflect the correct individual.
