We have thought about setting up the two temp holes we used last year, along the road between holes 13 & 14 for a "just in case" scenario. I really don't believe we will need them however.

This week has finally come! Battle in the Boro is just a few days away. We are expecting a great showing and hope everyone is up for the challenge. If your uncertain about coming, you need to change that attitude because this will be one heck of an event.

we will have Two divisions: Pro's and Am's. I thought it worked out fine last year. (maybe cause Andrea and I got second in Pro!!)

I should be at the park around 2:30-2:45 on Friday.

I just noticed that Joe Laster won AM last year by 7 strokes. I would have thought that would have been grounds for moving up. Guess not.

It will be neat to see how the course has changed - back in the day me and Uncle Bob Thurmon used to meet there each thanksgiving for a 'lil frolf before the turkey - that was back when there really were NO fairways and the back half of the course looked like someone drove a backhoe through the woods and cemented the baskets in before locating a tee box!!

We had some great laughs on the "horseshoe" hole - but if you liked skill shot golf - the 'Boro had it goin' on!

RIP Uncle Bob!! He could rub ya the wrong way, but when it came down to it- ya wanted Brutha Bob in your corner!!!
