To give us an idea as what to expect...if you are planning on attending, please reply with which division you plan to play.

If you already answered on Facebook page...disregard.

Jazzcaster....check with David on scorecards. If you can't get in touch with him, let me know.

Draft scorecard back. I still need to edit to make the numbers, baskets and tees bigger. It's a little hard to see when printed. Please advise if any change is needed.

Yes. It's PDGA policy, strictly enforced. Collared shirt, pleated ironed khakis, brown belt.

If everybody is still crying & moaning about what "par" is, they can at least look stylish while they're doing it.

I have seen those shoes before. Oh yes, they were school-issue required footwear at Brother Martin. Colors matched the pleated skirt the boys wore.

I wish we got to wear awesome shoes like that.

We had plain old black dress shoes, Navy standards, and they had to shine. If not you got to stay after school in detention and polish them until they did.

After having played this weekend, I have some rules questions that I wanted to bring up before I forgot them (getting to that age):

1. Parking lot on hole 6, I assume that all that pavement is OB.
2. Electric Utility wires on hole 9? Just part of the course?
3. Water on hole 10 - will there be a drop zone or just re-tee?
4. Paved walking path on 8 (far left, I've made it there), OB?
5. Paved walking path on 5. It has to be thrown across, but is it OB if your disc comes to rest on it?
6. Park benches - what if you are under one? Relief?
7. Ant hills, there's still lots - relief?

I'm sure player's meeting will cover all this, but I can put some of it on the score card (there's still plenty of room on back) if it would be useful.

1. Yes, on (completely surrounded) or over all pavement is out-of-bounds unless pavement is thrown across....then on pavement only.
2. I would say that they are one of the obstacles of the course. I''ll talk to David about it tonight.
3. I will check with David.
4. See #1
5. On pavement only. See #1.
6. Rule 803.05a: Obstacles to a Stance or Throwing Motion: With the exception of casual obstacles to a stance as described in 803.05 B, a player is not allowed to move any obstacle on the course. No relief is granted from park equipment (such as signs, trash cans, picnic tables, etc), which is considered part of the course. A player is allowed to request that other people remove themselves and/or their belongings from the player's stance or line of play. A player must choose the stance which results in the least movement of any obstacle. Once a legal stance is taken, the player may not move an obstacle in any way in order to make room for a throwing motion. It is legal for a player's throwing motion to cause incidental movement of an obstacle.
7. Rule 803.05b Casual Obstacles to a Stance: A player may obtain relief only from the following obstacles that are in the stance or run-up area: casual water, loose leaves or debris, broken branches no longer connected to a tree, motor vehicles, harmful insects or animals, players' equipment, people, or any item or area specifically designated by the director before the round. The player must first attempt to remove the obstacle. If it is impractical to move the obstacle, the player's lie may be relocated to the nearest lie which is no closer to the hole, is on the line of play, and is not more than five meters from the original lie, as agreed to by a majority of the group or an official (unless greater casual relief is announced by the director).
