Just a reminder I will be at BAP on Friday from 3-4 for pre-registration. I'm getting excited. Can't believe this is the third year. See you all there.

I have been getting some inquiries about whether I'm going to reschedule the tournament due to inclement weather. The answer to that is no! I spoke to the weather guys at WEAR-TV today and they say the rain chance on Saturday is 50/50 and the percentage goes down throughout the day. Based off that and my gut telling me it's going to be ok, the tournament is on as scheduled. Our Relay For Life group has alot of money invested in the tournament already and if I didn't believe the DG community will support this event, I would reschedule. I look forward to seeing everybody Saturday.

Just watched the forecast for the weekend, and it's looking better. Weather guy says rain should move out of area by 1000 in the morning. Might be a little wet during registration, but the rest of the day looks awesome with a high of 75. Prayer is a powerful thing. See you Saturday.

But in all seriousness, I'm an Int player, so it's really moot to me.....we'll all be playing in the rain according to accuweather though

I'm not a meteorologist nor am I affiliated with this tournament, but it looks like we should be able to get it in today if you're questioning coming. There's 1 band of storms that should be passed over the next 3-4 hours. It would seem to me that at worst, the tee off gets pushed back an hour. Who knows though, i guess we will see. I'm there rain or shine

Just poking fun at you, like I said, I'm an int level player, so I've got a while before I'm at advanced or open.
It was a wet but fun day.

Good luck at the SN cup Aaron

Great turnout considering the weather. 62 players that I want to thank for coming out and supporting in what was a trying day weather wise. Thank you to Jim Orum, Mike Sidebotton, Smoothie and all my other assistants, especially my wife Susan. Congratulations to all of the winners. I will get the results posted here later today or tomorrow and get them sent to SNDG by tomorrow. Thanks again to everyone and I'll see you next year.

Had fun despite the weather and terrible first round. Things ran very smooth all day. Great job on the tournament and fast results, cant wait for next year.

On a side note, Brandon Ezell did not ace. I cant recall the guy that did. Just a heads up

My apology to the gentleman who did ace. Unfortunately I'm old and didn't write the name down and was going off a faulty memory. If anyone does know who it was please post here. Sorry for the misinformation. Now I know why my wife tells me to write everything down. LOL

just emailed results to John Kittrell and am putting SNDG fees in the mail to John today. Should see official results posted soon.

Thanks again to everyone for their support.

One more thing. Anyone interested in ball golf, I am running a tournament on the 29th of March at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Navarre, FL. This tournament supports Relay For Life, Pancreatic Cancer Care Network, and American Legion Post 382 Scholarship Fund. Fees are 65.00 for civilians and 55.00 for active duty military. This is a four person scramble format and there will be a raffle with some great prizes. There also will be a car up for a hole-in-one prize. If anyone is interested please contact me for more information and entry form.

Mike,

Open, Pro Grandmaster, Advance and Advance Master played the Oaks and the Pines from the Pro Tees. Played Oaks first. Everyone else played the Pines and Palmetto. They played the Pines first.

Thanks.

Ok can y'all be more specific on what divisions used mulligans? Did Advanced & Advanced Masters use them for instance?

I get that the pros didn't, i will be able to rate them for sure, but more info would help.

Mike,

The divisions that used mulligans were Intermediate Men and Women and Novice. That was it. Thanks for the help.
