Options for staying nearby are limited due to the Super Bowl being in N.O. this weekend. I have called around to some local RV & Camping centers and have determined that there are several options available.

Keep in mind, there are numerous other RV & Camping Resorts in the area, some closer, some farther away.

It is more of an RV park, however, they have 20 tent sites that include water & electric, and WiFi.

Glad to see that you're staying with no more than 5 per card....part of the deciding factor before I pre-registered is that the groups will be reasonably sized....I've played in tourneys w/6-7 on a card and it makes for a longgggg day....

Tee assignments???

Tee Assignments:

1st Round: Red for all players, Temp tees for Jr. & Novice on 8 holes due to water hazards or excessive distance off the tee

2nd Round: Pro(except for the Pro Women) & Advanced = Blues Tees, Red for all other players, Temp tees for Jr. & Novice



Initially, we anticipated having the Pro Divisions play two rounds from the longer blue tees. Considering the ammount of available daylight, the larger playing field, and the added holes, it seems that allowing the pro divisions to play the first round from the red tees should save time.

Doris' Hot Tamales will be out there selling homemade hot tamales
In Business Over 35 years - Simply the best tamales around.
If you have never had them you are in for a treat.

If tamales don't suit you, there will be Pizza available by the slice or whole pie.

We will also have drinks on hand for purchase.

If neither one of those options works for you there are numerous other establishments within a few minutes of the course. However, if you leave the park you will miss out on the Crooked Letter Brewery Beer that is being served during lunch until gone.

lol I was going to change that, but figured nobody would notice. You need 5-6 people to drop out for you to be in. If I here back from that many people tonight I will let you know, if not you will just have to make the hopeful drive in the morning.

I had an awesome time yesterday! SNDG has the best players and volunteers. A lot of people stepped up and Chuck, Eric, and Will ran a great tourney.

Plus I got to witness Philip's awesome ace on the last hole of the day!

Hope everyone enjoyed the newest DG hotspot in the state.

Great Job Chuck, Eric, Lynn and all that worked so hard to make sure 100+ people had a fun day playing disc golf!!! The course was fun and challenging. It was great to see so many good people in one place. Thank you to everyone that has supported the 50/50 raffle for YOUR 2013 SNDC. DD won 50.00 on the 50/50 raffle yesterday. Have a great day everyone!!! I can't wait for the next event here!

Big shout out to Chuck and Will, you guys did great yesterday. Also a big thank you to Josh "Kayak guy" Wenger , Hole A between 4 and 5 wouldn't have been playable if it wasn't for him and everything in the raffle was his personal disc. Also John, Deb, Lynn, Brian, Bill, and a few other who I have forgot their names, all of you help out like crazy in sign ups, score card, and after the tourney. Thank You all very very much.

I hope every enjoyed their selves, I know we made a few mistakes and will improve for our next one. Congratulations to all of the winners.
