Not bad for an INT. player if I do say so myself. I got no choice but to shoot good, lol.

Had a good time at Doxey for Doubles, Good Weather and played with Good cards. Had a Great Partner also. Only thing that bummed the weekend was the news that Turkey Hollow is being taken down. Don't know the reason and don't understand, but one of favorite destinations for disc golf is going to take a hit. While Spring Creek is a good course, just do not know how often I will make the trip for it alone. Sad that the Park has made this decision.

Wow. Did not realize that the course would be taken down soon. That is a real shame, it was an absolute blast to play. This weekend was my first time to play it and I can definitely say that I am a better disc golfer because of it.

It won't be anytime soon. There is another park looking to do another course and if the need the baskets it is a good possibility that they will get them from doxey. Hopefully it will fall apart and turkey will stay. It's one I'd the best courses around.

Taking a course out? Kinda bucks the National trend. Many places are putting courses in. Looks like I'll be spending my tourist dollars elsewhere.

Well I could do ratings for the singles event if someone sent me the g.d. excel file, and informed me what divisions played where.

Good thing the SN ratings are free it sure doesn't look like anyone would pay for them LOL

. None of us want to see baskets taken up, but we don't want to piss the State of Mississippi off. One way of looking at it...if we loose 18 holes at Doxey we might gain 18 at a state park that doesn't have a course. Which would actually grow the sport. Case in point it would be great if we got a course at John Kyle State Park at Sardis Lake. Or if the baskets got moved to a part of the state that currently doesn't have disc golf it would be even better!

Bluff I had a calculus 3 test Monday, and advanced math today and a engineering stats text tomorrow so you can back off and I might send you the info when I get a chance to finish the doubles results tomorrow.

Before everyone gets all het up about a course being removed at Wall Doxey... I spoke with the park manager, Jeff Davis, and asked him how many courses will be available for the September 21st & 22nd Rumble in the Jungle tournament. The reply was straight forward and unambiguous: 2 courses. Jeff went on to say that he was told I had pulled out as the TD for that event, which is definitely not the case. Jeff did not remember who said that.

I have already posted the event on the SNDG Tournament Schedule Forum and confirmed the dates with the park. I have already designed the tournament disc and started preliminary work securing sponsors. I would very much like to know who told Jeff Davis I was reneging on my commitment and where they got that information.
