So many people to thank! MADGA - Bernie Sawyer, DD, WW, Red, JC Cannon, Phillip Tate, RANDEYE REYNOLDS, and all the staff.
Big Brown, Mike Parish, Mamma Belt, Mike K, Chaz... all of our sponsors. Everyone that helped in one way or another - Jim Orum, & Joe Burback for setting up with product for all of us - City of Mobile for getting the grass finally done (JC CANNON once again). Sure that I have forgotten many but know that all of us appreciate you. Last but not least you the Players.

Thanks John and Jeff for making the event - ment alot to me personally - Jeff sorry that my emotions over came me and the tears that flowed because of them. Doug and Paige for not beating me up over the Mando and the long tee on Muni Gold # 3... To the USA players - the lunch truck did not show up because they could not find the course and you expecting them to provide you lunch. That the course was not tournament ready - I take the blame for all of that, even if it was beyond my controll.

Looking towards next year already - we will be moving the event to a PDGA A tier for Open players and B tier for all other Pros. Not sure about it being sanctioned with the SN.

Several Cities have shown interest in hosting next years event - Memphis, Jackson, NO, Mobile, Nashville, & Tallahassee to name a few.

Last - Where would you like to see the Mango Classic in 2014 and why?

OK The Mango 2013 is history so that means it's HOWLER TIME! See you there.

Last - Where would you like to see the Mango Classic in 2014 and why?

Mobile has the perfect set up, local players that will help with the event and several quality courses to choose from.

New Orleans would be great also, but may need to add a temp 18.

Only bad thing about Jackson is the drive between courses. Being able to play the Rez almost makes up for it though.

I would like to see it stay somewhat near the coast to give all the South LA, MS, and AL players a fairly close PDGA event to play.

If Jackson had another course I would say definitely have it there. The Rez is an awesome course but there isnt another one of the same caliber real close. Mobile or New Orleans. I was wondering about maybe using the Hobbit for a course. Its like maybe a 15-20 minute ride from municipal.

Tallahassee at Jack McLean and Tom Brown! Jack is the toughest course out of the cities mentioned and Tom is just a great course from the longs! They are polar opposites of each other, one wooded(tight at times), one open, both with elevation, both 24 holes, par 4's, not much ob needed...... And it would be fun to see what some of those guys could do at Jack.

Tallahassee for sure. You have two great courses that provide plenty of holes for your "pro" tournament. And like it was said above, you have 2 completely different courses. They'll have to throw some bombs at one and they'll have to play smart and technical at another. Not to mention the city of Tallahassee is very supportive of disc golf and they have a great club over there also that would be able to help.

Also, I'm all for keeping it on the coast. Gives everyone around here their one chance a year to see the big names in disc golf compete.

Tallahassee

Tally has two amazing courses very close to each other, and I totally agree with keeping it in the Gulf Coast area because
we rarely have PDGA events that draw the best in the world in our area!

I think those MPO scores are very mixed up. Missing the final 9 round scores and not in order of who won
Re: The Mango Classic 2013 - October 12 & 13, 2013
November 19, 2013 10:24AM
final 9 is in there for the final 9 players ... they're just in "score order" including the final 9 ... not winner order these guys should be at the top:

MPO Cameron Colglazier 48 47 51 30 176
MPO Nikko Locastro 52 48 52 27 179
MPO Richard Wysocki 52 51 51 26 180
MPO Bradley Williams 49 48 51 35 183
MPO Devan Owens 47 51 54 31 183
MPO David Feldberg 52 53 50 33 188

now maybe they can get posted officially?

I have no idea there as far as the pay outs?

First place for Advanced Masters got a granite slab trophy, 1 champion and 1 blizard tourney stamped disc from the 2012 <- yes 2012 ... Mango tournament. Whatever that adds up to. I think Cameron got ~1500 cash maybe a bit more. Seems like 2nd was ~1200 but I've slept a lot since then. I may know someone with a pic of the payout chart that was put up. I'll see what I can find.

*With the brown cotton long sleved T-shirt and 1 2013 Mango tournament champion disc players pack added to it too I would assume.

Steve,
I'm assuming here but, since the Mango results are STILL not up on the results page, the folks that do that step are still waiting on something from you. Again assuming here, they don't want/like/aren't going to accept what you have posted in this thread above and want something sent directly to them as posted in the "tournament result posting" thread showing to whom to send the results to.

Any way you could get with those parties and see what they need to get them up? I'm not chasing SN points, I know there are those that do, but I would like to see the results and payouts (not a payout

I wasn't trying to stir anything up here. I know you posted results up on the 7th of November ... I pulled out the top 6 in MPO that seemed to have some confused on the 19th of Nov and yet there were still questions about payouts and such which were partially answered on the 22nd and we've still yet to see anything posted on the results page for a tournament that took place 12/13 OCTOBER.

I only assumed "they" were waiting on something from you as there was a 15 day gap in your posts after you posted the initial results in the thread and the post partially answering the payout stuff and that one of the results posters said they haven't received them back on the 4th of Nov.

Reasonable assumptions ... but as with anytime anyone assumes anything ... you know the old saying ;-) that's exactly why I used the word assume purposefully a couple times in my posting. I hope it's reasonable to assume that you've followed up on whatever you're waiting on from the BOD so all of this can get taken care of or are you still just waiting for it to arrive? From the sounds of things in the "off-topic discussion" area, they've had more than a couple distractors taking their collective eyes off-target, so-to-speak.
