Don't forget about the 1st disc golf event at Southwest Louisiana's newest course. I know the group over there is working hard to bring you a quality event. Please help the boy scouts by sponsoring a hole for this group. They are also selling disc for the event:

Lovely every one. 20 each Champion Sidewinders and Teebirds. 15 each metal flake Sidewinders and Teebirds.70 to sell. $15 each. We appreciate your support

Lafayette sure is excited about our neighbors' first big tournament at their new course.

We were making plans to carpool at doubles this morning and I'm sure Tyson & Flight Club were doing the same on Saturday.

Should have a strong showing, including some folks who usually don't do much travelling.

I'm sure some of our friends from Texas will be there too. Everybody come out west and join the fun!

David,
With the front passing thru tonight would waterproof shoes be needed tomorrow or Saturday ?

That would be smart because there will now be some water in low areas. We will see tomorrow if we can get some pathways dry.

I am sure David Clayton and crew will fill in the details, but this tournament was one the most enjoyable tourneys I have been to in awhile.
Very fun course in a beautiful park.
Well run tourney despite being their first go.
Excellent lunch and enjoyable folks.
David indicated that the tourney raised over $1,500 for local Boy Scout council and still added cash to the Pro payouts.
Looking forward to the next one.

All true and succinctly said. Thank you for the kind words. Scouting Council will end up closer to $1,750. Great group of 62 golfers, and a really fun day. Laissez les bon temps rouler!
