McComb, MS area courses

I will be in McComb, MS playing stick golf and was wondering if there were any disc golf courses nearby?

Actually I just heard this weekend that there is a course out that way. Its located at Lake Lincoln park. I can't think of the name of the little town this park is located in at the moment, but its in the Mccomb area. Just ask about lake Lincoln Park.

Thanks. I saw that one. It looks like its about 40 minutes north of McComb towards Jackson. Anybody know of something closer to McComb?

Hello Ascension Acer,
To my knowledge, that would be your closest course. It is only about 25 minutes away. The only course I could think of as alternate will be the Baton rouge courses. Lake Lincoln opened their course about 7 months ago. Their is one in Jackson also at Lefluer's Bluff State Park. We are hoping that Percy Quinn State Park will have a course starting next May.

The closest town is Wesson to my knowledge. I don't know directions from McComb. If you take the Wesson exit off 55 road signs will take you there. It is a woods course.

I personally would not go 10 minutes out of my way for this "course"
but that's just me. But if you live in Memphis this "course" is right up your alley. SHORT and WOODSY. BUT it is 18 baskets in the ground did I mention SHORT and WOODSY ???

how far is lincoln park from i-55?

FAR It is not a short jaunt out of the way off of I-55. It's a 30 minutes drive or so through back-country MS.

Lake Lincoln is about 10 miles or so off of I-55, from the Wesson exit (#51, I think?). Just follow the signs from the interstate to the park. There are actually several different ways to get there if you know them, but this will probably be the easiest.

Well the route that I took was far MORE than 10 miles. It was months ago too so I really don't remember. But in the end, all we did was drive around where the course was (it wasn't finished) and it added an hour to our trip.
