I just wanted to say thanks to Mr. Jim for a great tournament, also to Mike Sidebottom for sponsoring us in and getting us a trailer to stay in. They were super nice and really clean with all the luxuries of being at home. I think I speak for all the H.C.S.V. that was able to come, when I say we had a really great time. It was a really good turnout, with great weather the entire weekend. I would also like to say that Blue Angel is one of nicest courses I have ever played. Although very short, it really challenges your finesse game, and had some of the prettiest landscape I have ever seen on any course. It has all the extras that I could only wish Paul B. Johnson had; benches, bag holders, tee pads, nice signs, and water stations every four or five holes. It looks like the locals there have really put a lot of time and effort into making it a great course. Kudos to Pensacola for that. Also I would like to add that the doubles on Sunday was a blast. Thanks to Mr. Jim for sticking around an extra day to organize that. Sarah, I really enjoyed playing with you, as well as Deborah and Scott. It was a fun round to say the least. Thank you Pensacola for a great weekend.
Hope to see all of you at Paul B. Johnson next month for the Ice Bowl. It is going to be a great one, so don't miss out. C-ya'll soon.

Matt Orum - what a scam - way to keep it in the family, Jim.

Seriously, this kid got game. I have now seen him play twice and park the most difficult hole on each of the two courses we played. And one of those was the 450' hole 16 at Gautier. Never seen that done until some darn 15-yr.-old kid did it. And the best thing is, besides that goofy grin, he doesn't have the bad personality traits that someone so obviously talented could have.

Matt, I look forward to playing with you again in the near future - in the first round of a tournament, when your skinny butt is playing pro and I am still stuck in Advanced.

Just remember, you might drive better than me, but you can't drive yourself to the park :p

well crow you almost got it right matt was only 14 when he park the gautier hole.pensacola has shown us the way on the extras , i will take that as a challenge to see if mobile can step it up a little.i would like to say thanks to mike p and and john for helping out ,what they ran the tournament . to the players that played you were the best, zero problems and to the players that help all the novice during the first round .i had at least 10 novice come up and said how great it was to play with the pro ,g-m am masters, and advance players. they said they now know how to play and act during a tournament. many novice said they learned alot on how to play the game of disc golf . we should all remember that word game ,sounds funs. three aces the first round one by champion buddy #15 rivers #15 and tony bass #1, way to go on the aces, i thought they would be at least 6 aces , well i was wrong. mike and glen the course was in great shape as always see yall in april .well go out and ace one for me ,jim

Yeah Saturday was a good day underparmike got beat by moreunderparjohn. I finished one stroke out of cash - bogied my last hole, but it was almost worth it to squeak by Mikey both rounds by one stroke. Poor Blessed Lettuce, I'm sure the crying lasted all the way to NO. You may get your chance at revenge tomorrow.
