Very generous of you Steve to lower the late fees. I know gasoline prices are hindering many and it looks like it will be getting worse before it gets better. Steve I will get you an additional $40.00 so I can be a T-shirt Sponsor.

Also Mike Sidebottom will not be sleeping on the floor, he will be in a bed at my house.

Is Beddy a misspelling for Buddy or is it a Freudian slip???

Since I don't have the time this year to do the tee signs,

Willy BT and Tully Bird would like to offer a T-Shirt Sponsor, and sign up.
I'm about to go to the LSDiscs page to pre-register, and if they will take the sponsorship there, I will.

If not, I'll have it for you in cash next time I head to NOTeam land.

This is the 2nd weekend of Spring Break at USM so I might even get to practice before hand!!

WillyBTully coming for my title!

If paying through LSDiscs, there is a 4 dollar shipping fee. Will I get my money back for that or must I go further through the process or what?

The note on the site, does that mean that it will cost $4 for handling through the site basically?

Bummer! I was so looking forward to getting redemption on the 2 layouts we played last year. Now we've got to play City park huh. Big Bummer!!Pros having to drive all over the city while the Ams get to stay put. That doesn't seem quite right. What happened to catering to the pros??? Not to mention what I have seen of City Park is no Pro layout or at least it seemed more like an Am course to me. This is only MY opinion so remember that b4 some of you get your panties in a wad....

How long is the drive from City Park all the way out to Laffrenniere anyway??? And is there going to be a meeting for the pros at City Park Saturday morning??
Re: Pot of Gold, party, play, eat, play, qualify, party
March 01, 2011 09:08AM
Good points Tony. The trip takes 12 minutes between courses.
Yes, the Open and advanced will have players meeting Saturday morning @ city park.

The layout at Lafreniere has changed so your redemption is out.
Catering to the pros? Steve Big Brown Swiler will be catering to everyone.

I, for one, am excited about playing the new course at City Park. I have yet to get out there to check it out, but I sometimes prefer playing a course blind for a tournament. Can't wait for this to go down!! 12 minutes is not that big of a deal. I will say it could be worse.
Good job to Mr. Timm and all of NO Team on preparations for this tourney. Keep it up fellas.

Tony,
Have you played the gold/pro tees at City Park? You might want to check them out before you call the course an "am course". To each his own.......

Tony, the best score at the last tournament at City Park from the long tees was -5 shot by MattO and St. Romain. They aren't any joke at all.

I think everyone is playing the regular tees at city park though. However hole 18 will be in the long position which will add a few strokes even to pros who may not have seen the entire course.

The tournament record on the regular tees is 45, but that was set with hole 18 in the short position.

What time is the players meeting at City Park gonna be?

We had a group of 5 today playing and myself, Mikey, and Steve all got a 3 on 18 in the long. I play out there almost every day and that is the most 3s I've seen in one group. This course may have many birdies possible, but with the wind and water you better be on your game. The best round i've heard of out here is 11 down, by both Matt O and Eric Tracy. My best in doubles is 10 down.
