Just noticed there were 10 int not 9.

Adv. Master got paid out 66% of field and only 40% to int.

Int. payout is custom to 50% , unless stated otherwise. Just for future tournaments.

Chip, had fun and thanks for running this event.

Sorry to upset you Dillon. Int. payed 35 to play 18 of which was fees. $10.00 non-member, $3.00 to pdga, $3.00 to park, $2.00 to Sn. $16.00 Players pack. So I had $10.00 left for payout. Int payout was $80.00. Payout looks week across the board, but it is due to high fees and low entry fees. In years to come we probably won't dual sanction. We lost money on the event.

I believe Clayton sent a seperate excell file to John K that the payout will be on. Hopefully it will be up in a few days.

$350 entry. $160 players pack. $180 fees. $80.00 payout. 120% plus $280.00 in CTP's.

ADV and up played long tees both 1st and 2nd rd

INT and below played short tees both rds

I had a blast in my 2nd ADV tourney and glad I chose to move up! Had a blast playing with Drew Davis and JK all weekend. It was nice to play in a tournament and not have to tell someone that they are not playing by the rules or having to teach people rules.

Cant wait for MS States. Get to play this one and Propst. Gonna be a good one

Sounds like 1/3 + 1 got paid out in the 2 divisions in question...

It was a very fun tournament, but sponsors could've helped the payout a LOT.

Matthew, there are still some ADV people that do not know the rules either.

I finished second in novice and I have no hard feelings toward Caleb!!!! It was his very first tournament he ever played in and everyone on this board knows how much different tournament play is as compared to casual play. I think we should congratulate all the winners and those who played instead of trying to make them feel bad and run people off. Thanks chip for a fun tournament. Also one reason there were very little sponsorship is because we have been concentrating on trying to raise money for states. Also Columbus is not new to disc golf but it has not been very prevalent in the past we are in the process of selling the game to the whole city in hopes that we can get a great sponsor base here but it takes time. I hope furture events will not disappoint and Columbus will see the potential for sponsoring our events.

Dillion, payout in Adv and Int was how it SHOULD always be.

Good shooting Casey.

Not trying to beat a dead horse and I am over it, was over it day of, but Zinger, can you explain why?

66% in ADV. Master (2/3)
44% in ADV. (4/9)
40% in AM. (4/10)

Adv. is the only OK payout I see.
Re: Lake Lowndes Summer Sizzler - 11-12 June 2011

Int should only be paid out 33%, I've been saying this for years. Adv masters only had 3 players, if you can get a 44% payout out of 3 players, then please show me. I believe 2 spots is fair. Adv am is right on. Again just my opinion (of course it worked this was this time because of smaller payout numbers, but it does look like a disc or something was gave out as players pack. If more money was in payout, then more players pack and same payout)

How does one get points in a divison with only one player. I thought you had to have 3 players to make a division. If you dont have 3 then you have to play in another division? I see two divsions that players got points without others in their divison?

Just wondering?

Typically it is three, but there can be smaller groups, it's at the discretion of the TD. In past tournaments if an individual wants points in their division they can do that. One example is Deborah Brouillette (pro master women), she usually plays with the pro women but the points are kept seperate. If the players and TDs are ok with that it has been allowed in previous seasons....or even 1 person divisions have been allowed such as pro women (where sometimes they don't field 3 players at an event). I've also seen the entry fees combined but the points seperated. I think we did that in the pro masters and open divisions at an arkansas tournament in the past.

I wanted my $2 to goto the Masters division so I played Masters. I also donated the winnings to the next tourney they have there.
