I played this course recently and I would highly recommend this event to anyone within a couple of hours. The course is not always open to the public and it would be a shame to miss out on such a good course if you have the chance. I truly hope to make this one.

If you have never played the Bratton-Green course or if you have not played it in the last few years then I would recommend that you add this date to your calendar. Gonna be a great weekend of Disc Golf!

question: if my wife came with me, would I need to pay anything additional to the $35 for me. She isn't going to play, just wanting to know if she would need to pay for her lunch and would we be able to have a private cabin?

The only other fee for your wife would be a $5 fee for the lunch Saturday, assuming she's going to eat. Other than that, nothing. All of the cabins have a little side room with a bunk bed and bathroom that you all could stay in. It's private.

What's the course like there? Open/wooded? Short/long? Will pros be playing 1 set of tees or 2? I hope to make it up there early enough Friday to play a round. Will I be able to find my way around? Are there tee signs with distances or scorecards available with distances? Thanks in advance for any answers.

Casey,

Accuracy is a must. The white holes average a tad under 300, but there are only one or two holes that don't require maneuvering around trees, woods, water, and OB. Pros and Advanced will play both rounds on the white tees. Amateurs will play one round on the shorter blues and one on the whites. I'll be out there around 6:00 on Friday, but others will likely already be there to greet and show around. The tees are marked with some painted landscape stones with distance on one and hole on another. It's pretty easy once you make it through one time. We will have some scorecards as well. Glad you're coming.

I posted an aerial picture of the course on the Facebook page, and we've got about 50 signed up that I know of, so it looks like it's going to be a fairly good turnout. Remember to bring linens or sleeping bag if you're staying the night. Hope to see everyone there.

What a great weekend of some fantastic disc golf, I have never had such a great time with a group of cool-bro's as I did at CGB. To all those that missed this, this was not just a disc golf tourney, it was a disc golf retreat, a vacation for disc golfers with on-site activities and amenities that are second to none. I Felt like I was off the grid in a disc golf oasis. Thanks to Duncan Gray, Buddy, Grae, Massive J, and every one else who made this happen. This is an event NEVER to miss, and it is only going to BLOW UP when word gets around about it. I came up Friday night with my ole pal Ryan Porter(who can grill it with the best of em, thanks for your hard work on the fire bro), and i left Sunday with 5 new bro's (Daniel Windham, Mike Thrasher, Scotty Mac, Mark Martin, Andrew Mclarty), good peeps! It had that summer camp feel to it the whole weekend, I was completely a kid again.

I could go on and on about this event and about the place itself, but I will just leave with this; next year......DO IT!!! DO IT!!! Congrats to the winners, that would be all of us, no losers this weekend! But actually it really wasn't fun getting your butt kicked all day by the "CBG Alumni," LOL. Thanks Again fellas, after all is said and done I might just have to convert to the Episcopal Religion of CBG, the First Church of Disc Golf!!

I think Scotty Mac is still slammin Natty Light yall! lol

Scotty Mac don't ever stop slammin Natty Light! I had a great time as well. I did not stay the night but wished I had after seeing what all was available to us. I plan on staying for the weekend next year even though I only live 30 minutes away.

Guys, thanks for taking a chance on our first SNDG tournament. I hope that it does indeed continue to grow and it does continue to be more than just a tournament. We'll be tweaking the course a bit to make it even better next year, so it should be a blast.
