I will be the TD for this event.
Here are some updates so far. We are adding a minimum of $500.00 cash to the tournament.
The first 50 players will receive a sweet hot stamp disc with your entry.
For players traveling more than 60miles to attend this event, we are throwing your name in a drawing. This drawing will award TWO players a $50.00 gas card a piece.
We are having 10 x $10 CTP's *5 cash ctps for both rounds.
We are selling $20.00 hole sponsorships to help this event out. Get involved and help Jonesboro have a great event.
These guys are really working hard at making an annual event at their course. Online registration will be up soon at www.npctour.com

Just got word from the Meyers' family. They are working hard at providing extra merchandise for the Ring of Fire. Looks like we are going to have an awesome event with a sweet ring of fire. Here is a little of what to expect. 20+ premium discs, shirts, a bag, minis, stickers, and more to come.

Also, the flyer says the first 50 amateur players will receive a premium players pack. That has changed to the first 50 players total. Lets make this event great by showing up. We are expecting a big player base from Memphis, Jonesboro, and Little Rock. This will be a 72 player max! Sign up

There is camping at the park. The RV camp grounds at Craighead Forest Park boast 26 sites, all with water and electrical hook-ups (50 amps) for $18/night. All sites have access to a personal table, patio, fire ring, and grill. A new addition to the camping area is a modern bathhouse with toilets and showers, as well as pay laundry machines. They also offer tent sites and a primitive tent area for $8/night. If you would like more information about camping at Craighead Forest Park you can call 870-933-4604 or email, jowens@jonesboro.org.

I will be looking for a place to stay. I will be coming in on Friday to make last minute preps, for the event. Nothing better than having a place to stay. It shouldn't be too cold yet so, camping won't be ruled out!

The Battle in the Boro Discs have been ordered. The design is awesome and can't wait until you see them. With this event beginning to shape up to be a great one, we hope everyone come out to enjoy some great golf.

This tournament will be limited to 72 players. If an overwhelming response comes in for more, we may go to 90, but rather not.
Currently there is about 40+ players verbally saying they are attending on Facebook, which leaves little room for the day of sign ups. We had our first online registered player today at www.npctour.com.

Local Directions: From Memphis: take I-55 north, exit US 63 to Jonesboro/Trumann. In Jonesboro, exit #45 (Southwest Dr/ State 141). Circle around to right and go over bridge. Turn left at light (Parker Rd.). Turn right at Craighead Forest sign (Cluberhouse Rd). About 3 miles to park entrance on left (see park sign).
From Little Rock: Hwy 49 into town. Turn right at first light (Parker Rd). Turn right at Craighead Forest sign (Cluberhouse Rd). About 3 miles to park entrance on left (see park sign).
In park, take right at stop sign then left on access road #6. Park on the left, course on right across from ball fields. Look for Kiosk with course maps.

Course Updates Continue:
The underbrush is being cleaned out everyday. Really starting to make a huge difference on how this course looks, plays and feels.
Several new pin placements in the ground just this week with a few more planned. This course is going to be 'new' to everyone, even those of us who play it all the time.
I have said it before and I will say it again, if you have not played Craighead Forest Park in a while, be here on the 15th!
