Really enjoyed Blue Angel today. Thanks to all you Pensacola guys in advertising the camp. I heard of alot of players planning on coming. Going to have to buy more food :). Maybe we will max it out this year. Thanks to Tony as well. I'm getting calls from Hattiesburg players as well. Please remember if you plan to stay the night Friday to bring a pillow and sheets for a twin size matteress. There will be a $15 charge to stay and there won't be any food out there to buy. Only meal I'm planning on cooking is lunch Saturday. Friday at noon the course will be opened for anyone who would like to see it.

We will have a group of 4 or 5 coming I know of. Looking forward to my 1st Am Tourney! We have a AM in our group that played his 1st Tourney there and said it was great! Can't wait to play it!

Byron,

I am hoping to bring a car full of "up and coming" Columbia area golfers with me. There is a group of teenagers I played with yesterday at The PRL DGC and they've got some game. May be some of our next pro players I hope.

Look forward to playing the course again!

Course will be opened for player Thursday and Friday. Hole Sponsor so far are

Gulf Coast Bible Camp (Hole 2 CTP $25 Walmart gift card)
Tommy Norman (TBA)
Tony Bass (TBA)

I let sponsors chose how they want their hole to play. You can bring items or cash for a CTP (these will be for all divisions on both rounds) Or if you want to add funds to a certain division you are welcome to chose that as well. Last year we had 7 CTP's, I am hoping to hit 9 this year. Every other hole is the goal.

If anyone else would like to sponsor a hole ...cough sky south.....just let me know :) I think I'm going to sponsor another one as the "Mike Sidebottom retirement hole" since you are going to help me get that Gator.

Thank you guys. i talked to a group in Jackson that said they should be there as well. Some have asked if the tournament is going to fill and if so will players be turned away. We have the ability to put two more holes in if needed, but rest assure no one will be turned away. I'm 99 % positive we won't pass a hundred, so rest assured we will have room and plenty of food. Please post if you plan to spend the night. mnay have called checking but few have committed.

Sky South is sponsoring a hole now. $30 to the open purse. I will be putting money toward open as well. Either playing or sponoring a hole...either way it's donating :)

Weather is looking great. Saturday will be Sunny, about 60 with very little wind. Beautiful day for golf!

We have players coming from Pensacola, Spanish Fort, Mobile, Semmes, Lucedale, Hattiesburg, and Jackson. Am I missing any areas that are sending some representation?

Thank you so much Tony.

Mike remember to bring some funds and bid on the golf cart again. Last year it went for $50. You and Jim could go 50/50 and have the two best rounds of tournament golf ever :)

We are expecting around 70 to 75 right now. I hope we get to 90. Quicker we get these turn outs, the quicker we put some more holes in.

Byron,
I should be getting the check from the school tomorrow as long as my principal comes in to sign off on my purchase order. I'll be bringing 5 students with me that will be playing Novice and Junior divisions.

This was a great tourney as always. The course was in great shape. The only complaint I have is moving the basket on 18, and not giving Ransom and myself a chance to repeat. J/K. Thanks to everyone involved. If you missed this one. You missed out on a great time. I have been to all of the tournaments held here, and they have been better every year. The best course you can only play in tournaments
