Thanks Brian you the man, I will bring some sweet tee and some coca cola. Out of town players come on and stay the night and go to the parade and Joe Cain on Sunday. Now go ace one for me.

Schedule Skysouth to come to your tournament and provide prizes for your event
using Skybucks. This lets the player choose the prize(s) they want! Also, we will
donate 20% of the amount of Skybucks purchased back to the hosting club!

You can also buy direct wholesale from the Skysouth inventory.

We have nearly 3500 items, ranging from Discs, towels, shirts, bags, caps,
Custom Dyed Discs and more!

PM us for details or contact Jim at (251) 478 0379.

The holes are fairly long for the most part, several holes contain massive elevation changes, and water comes into play on 5-6 holes as well. Hobbit is one of the best courses in Mobile though. I wish I were in town for this one.

With the bad weather rolling in, will this event get cancelled? Or is there a possibility that it could be moved to Sunday?

I just talked to Buddy about the Joe Cain Classic and he said it is still a go for in the morning.

I checked The Weather Channel and they have an ALERT up for flooding 6am to midnight tomorrow.

FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM CST SATURDAY THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING...

THE FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* PORTIONS OF ALABAMA... NORTHWEST FLORIDA AND SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI... INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING AREAS... IN ALABAMA... BUTLER... CHOCTAW... CLARKE... CONECUH... COVINGTON... CRENSHAW... ESCAMBIA... LOWER BALDWIN... LOWER MOBILE... MONROE... UPPER BALDWIN... UPPER MOBILE... WASHINGTON AND WILCOX. IN NORTHWEST FLORIDA... COASTAL ESCAMBIA... COASTAL OKALOOSA... COASTAL SANTA ROSA... INLAND ESCAMBIA... INLAND OKALOOSA AND INLAND SANTA ROSA. IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI... GEORGE... GREENE... PERRY... STONE AND WAYNE.

* FROM 6 AM CST SATURDAY THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING

* RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2.5 TO 3.5 INCHES WILL FALL DURING MOSTLY A TWELVE HOUR PERIOD ON ALREADY SATURATED SOIL. IN ADDITION... ONE HOUR RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL OCCUR ON TOP OF THIS WITH STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS. ISOLATED TOTALS UP TO SIX INCHES ARE POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON CURRENT RAINFALL FORECASTS.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE FLOOD WARNINGS. THOSE LIVING IN AREAS PRONE TO FLOODING SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLOODING DEVELOP.

I was kinda joking. No report did the tournament happen did get rained out?
Re: Joe Cain Classic Feb 18th

Do you mean to tell me that they didn't come through with the jello shots, a decent payout, or the tourney shirts like they promised. & people had to argue with the TD to get paid what the payout sheet, that somehow disappeared, had listed. What a surprise! O well, at least y'all got to play in the rain all day.

Imagine what could've been. Maybe if someone hadn't threatened me with a lawsuit. You could've had a great payout, shirts, lunch, jello shots, kegs, & a vodka bar. Just like every other time I've run the tourney. Live & learn people. I tried to tell ya. I promise I will have a tourney next year the day before Joe Cain that will be worth playing in. Sorry for the change of plans.

Any results?
Re: Joe Cain Classic Feb 18th
March 01, 2012 10:41PM
Good luck with that. I'm betting that the payout & results have somehow been misplaced. What a surprise. I'm gonna say it again because y'all should've listened to me in the first place. I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!!!
