I am heading to Orlando on Wednesday and should have some time for a round or 2. Suggestions...........nothing that will take more than a 45 minute drive...

Barnett Park has two 18's, multiple pin locations.
Turkey Lake has two 18's also that are a little better.

If you are going to stop somewhere along the way, stop in Tallahassee (Jack McLean and Tom Brown) both are 24 Hole courses, Jack is one of the hardest courses in the South, definitely the hardest in Florida(course record from long tees is -3) but there is 3 sets of tees on some holes, 2 sets on all holes

well Keith, depends where you are staying to keep it inder 45 minutes and it also depends on time of day that you are traveling. I think that you will be staying by the theme parks which in that case Turkey Lake will be the closer of the two. PM me when you get to Jax, maybe we can meet up at Fore Palms....

I played T2 @ Turkey Lake this summer and it was crazy hard from the tips. I really liked the park and would suggest to play the more scenic original course. Bill Frederick Park is really nice and has tons of things for the family to do.

Turkey Lake is what I played when we went this Summer. I only got to play the T2 course there and it was amazing, next time I'm there though I plan on playing the original.

Just curious if Keith got to sling plastic. How was it? I was down there in June, but my schedule didn't permit a round of golf.

I didn't get to play. The only day I could play it rained....
