Ok everyone..., I would like to inform you about the disc golf course at Anderson Pond.
There is now an 18 Hole course at Anderson Pond. It is still a work in progress, but is ready to be played. Located off of HWY 85 south of Crestview and just north of Niceville!

Big Thanks goes out to Justin Johnson, as he is head of Parks & Rec for Eglin AFB and wants everyone to come try it out! He would like input via the PDGC, so post what you think here and it will be forwarded to him! He also would like The Playground Disc Golf Club (PDGC) to start course clean-ups out there. Right now the clean-ups would consist of mowing,trimming, etc....

Please keep in mind that everyone MUST go to the Jackson Guard and get a rec. pass to play the course.www.jacksonguard.com. You could be asked to leave and or ticketed. So just go get one please! $12/ year

More progress everyday so far! Big things ahead for this place!

The PDGC will be adopting Anderson Pond through the Volunteer Program of The Eglin Parks & Rec. We have been asked and very diligently excepted the task. We will be installing concrete tee pads (Pro/Am), Bag Poles,Benches,Stairways, and Custom Tee signs in the weeks coming up along side of Eglin Parks & Rec.

We are very excited about this course. If all goes well and everyone acts accordingly, the base is considering putting in more. Their is an abundance of land at The Pond. We look forward to having tournaments here and having all of our SN friends come visit!

Tee signs have been ordered by the Eglin Parks & Rec.... concrete will be delivered within the next couple of weeks for the tee pads..... portable toilets coming...... turning into an even more awesome place than we could have imagined ... woot woot!!

Playground Disc Golf Club will be having the Sunday Random Draw Doubles out @ Anderson on the 3rd Sunday of Every Month, tee off @ 2:00.... so if you are in the area, we encourage you to check out this course!! Don't forget you will have to have a yearly $12 rec pass from Jackson Guard :)
