Too Many Discs?

Ever feel like you got too many discs? I am so bi-polar with my disc selection, I carry like 20 drivers, 4 mid-ranges and 5 putters, and have way more at home to choose from. These are not collected discs either, most of them are less than 6 months old

The less the better, i carry 4 high speed drivers, 4 fairways, 3 mids, 2 putters for throwing, and my 2 putting putters. Having fewer discs in your bag allows you to really learn them and not over think on what you wanna throw for a certain shot. Dont over complicate your bag.

A lot of it comes with practicing instead of playing rounds to win. I go into a field and try different shots with different discs and see what works for me. I have honestly played rounds where I may throw 4 discs total and some where I have to throw everything in the bag. I do agree with Andrew though. I throw a lot of the same discs but at different stages of them being broken in or different plastics.

Star xcal
3 Nukes
Star wraith
Star Teebird
Champ sidewinder
Pro Leopard
2 Buzzzes(different plastic)
2 Star Mako ( 1st runs)
Flx Drone
Kc pro aviar
JK Aviar X (main putter)

I used to be really bad about carrying so many different high speed drivers. Now I just carry a few destroyers and a few D1s. I just need to figure out what putters to keep in my bag. Right now I have two wizards for putting, 3 omegas, 1 FLX challenger, and a glo z zone.

You have a lot of overlap in your drivers. A LOT. Did you finally stop carrying that PDGA Stalker? Never seen you throw it. probably perfect for #4.

My bag is getting close to set. Have a Meteor coming to replace my Stratus that I never liked. Want to try a D4 and a Tern. Otherwise, I can cycle Destroyers in Pro and Blizz for the open shots and keep a 175 Star for wind/overstable duties.

Some people think about disc golf way to much. Throw the round piece of plastic in the basket. 20 discs just adds confusion on shots and allows you to second guess your original shot.

Shane, on windy days do you ever add a Wasp or do you use a heavy weight Buzzz for those kind of head wind shots?
