I was very much a DGA guy for a long time, but after play Himan (sp) at the SNDC this past year I have changed my mind. They caught very well and are much more visible.

I like the Mach V just because I hate the yellow band... a personal preference I guess.

Innova Pro. You can easily see them from the tee because of the yellow band and they catch better than the Mach's imo

I think the Mach's are a lot better aesthetically on courses that have a lot of natural beauty. I like the Innova Pro's for city type courses with a lot of traffic.

IMO the innova baskets look better than the Mach's.. unless the Mach's are powder coated and in that case nothing looks better than a powder coated basket

I agree Ethan, but when you are footing the cost, quality over looks goes a long way. I would love to put 9 blue and 9 red in but the added cost is a luxury I don't think I will be able to swing....

I will say that innova pros have a tendency to rust over time, whereas the mach's seem to stand up to rust a little better. Just an observation from the baskets in my area.

As much as I love the Ching of chains I hate the donk of the yellow band. DGA is coming out with a basket called the X project and from what I hear you can hardly get a disc to spit out no matter how hard you throw it and no matter the angle. This brings into question how good to you want a target to catch.

Dylan I want mine to catch the disc wether I'm close or not. Haha

You are correct Dylan, but they won't be out till spring of 14 and they are going to be more expensive than Mach III

ryan, show the me the proof that discatchers spit out more than mach V's. I call it belony. All baskets have a tendency to spit out!

Disc Craft Chainstars are the best!!! Think you can get them for $300 if you buy 18... BE AWARE.. the standards on baskets have changed! Make sure they sell you the new model with the improved bottom.. good luck. When you decide what you want , let me know---- I might be able to get a better price .......

DGA has a new design called the X factor ..... the new bottom and a spider webb design that eliminates cut thrus and spits!!!!!!! Supposed to be the best basket ever?????

MACH 5's also come with a 20 year warranty.
Re: Mach V vs. Innova Pro

The distinctive "CLANG" of Innova's yellow band causes small paint chips over time. The paint chips cause rust. Great baskets except for this flaw.

I'm not sure if they are approved or not. The course in my home town ordered 9 of them but I'm not sure how long it took for them to arrive. If you want to send Me a list of questions I will contact them for You.
