Disc golf in the '80's

Snapper Pierson posted some old school videos to YouTube.
Snapper owns/runs Morley Field in San Diego, the busiest DG course in America....I can attest to that.
Videos are long but interesting. Clothes and discs are different but baskets are basically the same.
If you've never played Morley, plan a trip sometime and get out there early in the morning.
The course has changed for the better but it's mostly the same.
Trees are bigger and there is lots more grass.
Know your roots!

Enjoy!

It's the most played because snapper will NOT install another course that would hurt his PAY TO PLAY Course(the only course in SD besides a 9 holer on a ball golf Course!

Exactly Jack C.
Morley is now 19 holes with a few of them crossing over other fairways. I lived 5 mins away and would never play it.
There are now 4 other courses in San Diego County but only the two you mentioned in SD proper.

Interesting. Except for the shorts, very similar to modern disc golf. No one ever seemed to make a shot, though.

The putting seemed the worst part of their game.

No. It was the shorts.
