sn rules on division for playing in doubles tourney

sn rules on division for playing in doubles tourney

i havent played in several year so im not familiar with the rules i play pro in singles play ive never played nor cashed in a pro doubles tourney, the question i have is what division am i allowed to play in in a double tourney sn sanctioned ?

Whatever your status is as a singles player, that's your division.

Also, with your partner, you must play in the highest division between the two of you.

Pro Player partnered with a Advanced = play Pro
Pro Player partnered with a Novice = play Pro

It would depend on when Your last cash was in the SN, there was a rule change about 3-4 years ago from the former 6 month rule, to what is now the 4 event rule.

4 event rule. Once You have accepted cash in a division during a singles event. You can only move down if You do not cash in 4 consecutive singles events.

As "WW" said, If Your partner is considered Pro, You would have to play Pro in the event.
