Just a little stat to show how fast this website is growing.

During a 6 month span in 2000, 5/00 - 11/00, only 41 total posts were made.

So far, as of 11:21 on 3/17/03,
73 posts were made.

Just a stat of the day.

i do not have stats (nor the desire to plow thru the archive and figure out the actual #'s) but this discussion forum was fairly dormant for quite a long time... but within the last season (or so) it has started to have daily use...

it is good to see this web site has helped the SN to grow... for instance the bag tag idea was probably easier to impliment due to this form of communication, etc...

brain moon, you be da man.

i'd like to thank myself and crow for constantly adding useless information to numerous threads on this site and getting the message count up. by the way don't forget the windy hills open in poplarville march 29. now go ace one in worst shot that doesn't count.

Here's a stat for you, Zinger - with rounds from two sets of tees at the two Baton Rouge courses, assuming the distances on the PDGA course directory are correct, we threw over 4.7 miles of disc golf this weekend.

Heh...I was inspired. Thru the City of Mobile Tournament, there have been over 2000 entries into Southern National Tournaments this season.

There have been four Tournaments so far with over 100 entries. Hattisburg Ice Bowl 147, Halloween Howler 149, Lee Naquin in Memphis 107 and the Mississippi States with 117

Largest PRO turn out so far was for the Hattisburg Ice Bowl with 31.

Largest PRO woman turn out so far was 11 in the November Memphis Tournament.

Largest PRO Grandmaster turn out was a tie at 11 between the Hattisburg Ice Bowl and Halloween Howler...proving that old people don't mind the cold so much as you might think. ;)

Largest PRO Master turn out was 22 at the Halloween Howler.

Largest Advanced turn out was Hattisburg Ice Bowl with 21.

Largest Advanced Women turn out was also at Hattisburg Ice Bowl with 10.

Largest Advanced Master turn out was at the Halloween Howler with 22.

Largest AM men turn out was 35 at the Hattisburg Ice Bowl with 34 showing up at the Miss. States. Something tells me Hattisburg has a lot of AMs.

Anyway there are you some stats! Hopefully in the coming months a ton of more people will turn out!

Did You Know....

Pencils use a mixture of graphite and clay to form what people refer to as "lead."

English Bulldogs are the only canines that can't swim. Their bones are too dense.

Oak trees don't produce acorns until they are 50 years of age.

Hummingbirds are the only birds that can fly backwards.

A dog's normal body temperature is between 99 and 101 degrees Fahrenheit.

Snapping turtles are the only turtles that cannot tuck their head into their shells. Legs or tail either.

I am bored at work and have nothing else to do.
Hope you enjoyed.
