It was a great turnout and success. We had 80 players at the tourney with only 4 novice and 3 juniors. The weather was beautiful. Kenny Collums and Zack Hudson are little worn out, but they TD a great tourney. Here are the results. Please forgive me now if I have mispelled your name, I can only type whats in front of me on the leader board cards. We expierenced a first to our knowledge a women final six in a southern national qualifier. Thanks to everyone for making another Wall Doxey State Park a success.

As a biased opinion, it was a great tournament. Thanks to all those who helped and made it so enjoyable.
Big HOORAY for Kenny and Zach(and their wives) for their efforts and handling everything. I am sure that everyone enjoyed their work. I am sure I dont know everyone who all worked to make it a success, but heres to you.
Best run tournement that I have been a part of. Kenny and Zack were on the ball. Sponsporship was outstanding. A lot of work had to have gone in to the success of the tournement and it showed. Thanks guys.
It was great!! Super prizes!! I am laying on my new air mattress cot in my new tent overlooking my new lawn tractor with my new skeeter bass boat parked behing it. All prizes that I won... Oh, except the boat and tractor. Sweet prizes though guys. Thanks for pounding the pavement for the sponsorships Benny and All. Zack and Kenny, you guys deserve much praise for the smoothness of it all, and the phat plastic payouts were nice also!!
Zack & Kenny you guys did an outstanding job ;) Most Spectacular tournament ! THANK YOU to all for your hard work! Sponsorship was GREAT!!! Excellent job to all!! The course looked really great.
The Final six for the pro women was an experience I will never forget!! Thank You again to all who supported the "GIRLS". If anyone has any pictures from the Final 6 Please send them to me. We forgot to take pictures! Thanks Print & Robin for the pictures.
I must agree it was a great time and a great tournament....I thoroughly enjoyed myself....
It was so neat to be 1 girl out of the 15 girls that were in the tournament....think of it 15 girls out of 80 players is almost 1/4 of the players.....great job with the running of the tournament...I will definately go back there.
The final 6 for the girls was wonderful to watch also...so much fun and I learned from watching it...I always love watching the pro girls play...us amateurs normally do not get to see them play...it is a great experience....hope that other tournaments follow suit and do it also....
I can say that the park and the tournament directors treated us well the whole time we were down there...willing to help in any way at all....wonderful group....
Um, yeah, 15 is less than 1/5 of the players, so it's not really close to 1/4, mathematically speaking. However, that is really an excellent turnout for women. Sounds like you guys had a great tournament. If we can just find a way to move North Mississippi closer to Southern Mississippi I will never miss a tournament.
Sorry that my math is not that good it was an exhausting weekend....and I was not thinking too clearly with my math when I posted that....but still it was a great tournament with many women...I do believe that we are getting more women...I can remember many years ago when you would only see about 3 women in a tournament many times....so cheers for the women..
We enjoyed the Wall Doxey Tournament, a bunch. Count us in, in the future.
Not that we were counting, but(since Memphis did). Arkansas sent 7 folks. = 3 1st, 1 3rd, 1 4th and 2 up and coming, young, very young (masters age) Women = 7. Add that to the NLR folks that stayed home and worked on the courses and their games = one good competative time at ASC.
