Willy BT, i found my records the other day about the finances for the States and i've come across some extra funds.

$32 from Rouster for his entry, so give him a free entry.

$35 from Joe Todd for a hole sponsor
$35 from Peanut & Sandy Faircloth for a hole sponsor
$27 from Eddie Daigle for a hole sponsor (got a disc, that's why it's $8 less)

total of $129. i guess i'll give it to ya if you ever pick up these baskets, which of course i'm hoping you will remain too lazy to do, i'm kinda growing attached to them.

never heard from ET so i guess the States is screwed on that $435. class act that ET.

will & kevin, what is the stupid logic behind making this a PDGA event? why support those SCUMBAGS?

if you'll recall, the states in NO was not PDGA for amateurs, only pros. why would you waste all that money by giving it to the PDGA and why would you want the extra hassle of checking everyone's PDGA numbers and getting the non-members to cough up an extra $5?

THE PDGA SUCKS. They overcharge for everything, and now they've banned non-members from posting on the PDGA forum. Even though I'm a member, the PDGA SUCKS.

Don't support the PDGA SCUMBAGS. THEY ARE WORSE THAN THE SN BOARD AND PSYCHOFISH combined!!!

Yes, I will not be handing over those 3 baskets to the States if you are going to sanction it with the PDGA. I will give you 25 pro and champion discs if you drop the PDGA sanctioning. YOUR CHOICE GUYS. PEACE OUT, AND MAKE THE RIGHT DECISION FOR LOUISIANA!

i got a refund on the $150 i coughed up for the supertour & insurance. the insurance was the sole reason any NO tournament was ever PDGA. The PDGA sucks. they make Jim O and Kittrell look competant.

Sir, my church does not discriminate on who becomes a member, as long as they send their tax-exempt tithes.

OK, so you are blackmailing/bribing the La. States.

Man, I gotta get me one of them postal jobs.

I do have some leads on a host hotel - but things are so messed up because of FEMA paying for rooms until the end of December that there isn't much left over.

The Minis are ordered - the shirts are inthe works, the courses are being cleaned and readied. Now it just seems that we need to reise some additional funds since Mikey is pulling a fast one. What - do we just say no to all organizations Mikey? That really helped our turnouts before the SN was born.

Any way - we are going to need baskets for this one for Scottlandville for Saturday. If you have a basket we can use please let me know and have it here for Friday if possible. If not we will need them by 8 am Saturday to have the course set up just incase we have to split into two groups.

I have people that have said because it is a PDGA tournament that they will be traveling this way. Possibly Des and Jay Reading. Really wanted it to still be an A tier, but don't want to turn away non members for that reason, and I don't have any problem not making it PDGA for the Am's, but if the Am's really want it - then it is.

Remember Mikey - Tournaments are for the players. You are not keeping any thing away from me - I'm not even going to play in this one - but to keep the prizes for the Am's that want to compete, oh well. I have always believed that as long as all of a division want something, why deny them. It is for the players.

OK now that that is out of my system - for now - back to the hotel search.

Peace,
Willy BT

yeahh.....I got my LA discs via Mikey.....thanx, Mikey....they have adorned the Wall of SLaw with their auspicious presence...

I do not think I will be able to make the trip, however.....I've done a bit of searchin' and can't find any friggin' hotels either.....

I am sure you all will havea blast (I'll be avoidin' my annual Baton Rouge- Highland Butt-kickin'...which is a good thang.....but I digress....)

Best of Luck, Will with the tourney, and to all bruthas in the Rouge and in LA in general, Peace Love and ACES!!!

There are some hotel rooms available through Travelocity. The prices have come down a little since last weekend although they are still on the high side.

Will have my basket there late Friday (Mach III portable)

I think PDGA is saying that if you get a membership right now you won't have to pay dues again until January or February of 2007. So you get 13 or 14 months out of it.
