It sounds like it was a great tournament. Congrats to Nick for the tournament Ace - most people don't have one of those. All the info I need is here. I'm new to the points information but trainable, so I should have all the information Brian needs to start the 2002-2003 points online within the next week or so and then points will be updated on a consistent basis. (See it does work- posting the results in the forum I have the points the following Monday) Hope to see everyone at the LA Open the 28 and 29.

All I wanted to add is that Laff. Louisiana disc golf is going to be one of the best stops on the SNDG tour. $30 entry fee, and $300.00 for first place Open!!!!! Incredible. The Pro woman's purse was also a 200% payout, with loads of extra $25 cash ctp's and other great prizes that were donated.
I truely think that ya'll have an incredable base of people over there, and with just a little more coaxing, ya'll will be running your own tournaments, payout, and every thing.

Remember what I said; use the slogan "still only $30 to enter-Still the bigest pay out for the buck.
Thanks to Joe Todd, Pat D., Brannon V., and all the other invaluable members that donate money, time, blood sweat and tears, Ya'll do kick butt!!!

Also congrats to Brandon for holding off a charging open field to take first place in the open division, way to keep on keepin' on.
Also; thanks to Jim O. for helping me get Sky South West off the ground to help him provide clubs with plastic, advice, and any help they may need.
Jim O is the MAN!

Wow, what a tourney! Ronnie and I had a great time and the folks in Lafayette did an awesome job, although, all the Lafayette tourneys are great! Thanks to all the folks that made it possible, and especially to the sponsors.

It was a very pleasant surprise to have money added to the pro women division and especially that much! I think I can speak on behalf of the other pro women (and there aren't many around here!) as to how much that extra money is appreciated, and hopefully it will encourage some of the am women to step on up to pro.

Thanks again for everything, the course looked wonderful, your hard work is very much appreciated, keep up the good work.

Remember, we have a one day tourney at Greenwood in Baker this weekend, September 21st, so please try to make it if you can.

Have a great week.
Robin Adams
Thanks for all the kind words Will and Robin

We also want to thank Will T for helping us out with the payout among other things.

That extra $$$ in the pro divisions will be a regular thing so spread the word to all those pros out there...

"FOR THE BIGGEST PAYOUT FOR THE BUCK
COME TO LAFAYETTE AND TRY YOUR LUCK!"

I'll be out of town again this weekend and next but I promise I will come "donate" my entry fee in Baton Rouge some time soon...maybe I can get "Grand Master Durand" to come too, and get even! ;-)

Sounds like the tourney was a success for all. Also seems as tho
some of the advanced players need to empty all the SAND out of their bags
its scratchin up the plastic.

Ha- Ha, very funny Rick! Not that it would matter to YOU who is sandbagging, seeing as how you don't travel to tournaments anyway. I think you need to just concentrate on getting UP to the advanced division, then you can worry about who is sandbagging and who isn't! HA-Ha, now that is funny!!! Later T-rick.
