we lucked out and dodged the bullet

being west of the eye of the storm-- we were spared the brunt of the rain.

new orleans on the other hand-- got hammered.

the rain here is slowing down bigtime...

the winds will help to dry out the courses

these courses drain well, for the most part.

friday is forecast to be sunny. that will help BIGTIME to dry out the courses too...

from what i've seen anywhere from 2 - 6 inches of rainfall in the BR area.

a bit more as you head east, of course :^p

Like the last post said, Baton Rouge lucked out. My ceiling started to leak due to the wind blowing up some chingles. But that only lasted for a few hours early in the morning. By 10:00 am just about all the streets were usable. Highland road is just fine. It's wet, but it looks like it just had a normal rain shower.

I hope no one had too bad of property damage. Come down this weekend and tell us about it. I'm sure everyone will have their own story to tell.
