SN Financial 2010

Monies collected:

Tournaments: $11,498
Bag Tags: $2,780

Total: $14,278

Monies Spent:
02/04/10 Bag Tags (second order 1st order was last year's financials): $405.89
06/28/10 Memphis Disc Golf (collected am money to that point): $5645
07/01/10 MADGA (Doubles): $815.50 (including $85 in sponsorship collected for the event)
08/08/10 Trophies Unlimited (next years bag tags) $626
08/20/10 Memphis Disc Golf (Pro monies plus bag tag money): $5780
08/20/10 Memphis Disc Golf (Final Am fees) $693
08/20/10 Memphis Disc Golf (BOD sponsorship to offset PDGA fees): $500
09/15/10 Trophies Unlimited (EOY Awards): $130.35

Total Spent (minus the $85 dubs sponsorship): $14,511.35

Difference: -233.35

In addition a donation was given to pay for points discs for this year and last year of $775.16. In other words, we never paid for last years points discs, although we budgeted for it, and this years was not deducted from the account as there was no payment. So in reality, we have a surplus of $154.23.

Players:
Pros: 1998
Ams: 4334 (not counting juniors and novices)

Total fees: $12,664
Total fees uncollected: $1166 (There were several events which were granted reduced fees by this BOD and/or previous BOD's in addition to some events who paid late or may still be outstanding).

What can be done about event not paying their fees?

Maybe not let them host until they pay for the fees outstanding?

Josh,
Does the $405.89 for the bagtag order include shipping? If so, what was the price per tag?

I agree something needs to be done about outstanding fees...

Yes, it does include shipping. I'll look up exactly what the price was but using my immediate math skills I would say bout $4 per tag more or less. We put the tags up for bid every year and accept the lowest bid.

sell the tags to the series, they retail for $3.50 ea. / as a sponsorship I deduct 20%........so they cost the series $2.80 ea. (probably 2.85 to 2.90 counting shipping), hit me up if your club/group needs any bag tags - this is my 3rd year doing them for the SN, I have also done MADGA's, Kansas City, Official Ice Bowl, Little Rock, Tulsa, USDGC..........and many more

Did you all order more then 100?

Re: SN Financial 2010

8/20/10 Memphis Disc Golf (BOD sponsorship to offset PDGA fees): $500

Did the BOD come out of pocket with this? Or was it from the 25 cent slush fund? If so it should read PLAYERS sponsorship and they should have had an exemption to the SNAC :)))))

Thanks for posting the numbers!

"Did you all order more then 100?"

If not then we are really stupid because Jim just posted a pic of tag # 130 or so.

25 cent "slush fund." That "slush fund" also pays for the end of the year trophies, points discs, shipping fees (although I just paid for shipping out of pocket mostly), and provides us with a reserve fund.

The original order is for 150-200. Plus women's tags. Some tags cost more than others. We ordered 100 more. in midseason as memory serves. Again I can look up the exact numbers if you want.

Josh, I posted the numbers that Evan says he charges. 2.90 each with shipping so 100x2.90=290 not 405.89 that is why I asked if you ordered more then 100. And who did you send the check to???

I know what it is for , but you said BOD sponsor so I thought it was the BOD money and not the PLAYERS slush fund

You said it not me. Obviously someone dropped the ball cause 161 did not get sold or that is the story at this point lol

Bob, you are just making up your own facts and changing the line of questioning so nothing can ever get answered.

What am I making up? The numbers are the ones Evan posted for the cost of the tags. 161 is the number of bag tags that where not sold, that is also using the number the SNPC was paid forJosh said the first order was paid for from last year. And The only other question that i was First to ask was who did he make the check out to? Ex: Evan, Kevin....

although your question, was already answered by Josh! he said 150-200
"Did you all order more then 100?"

If not then we are really stupid because Jim just posted a pic of tag # 130 or so.

Re: SN Financial 2010
September 18, 2010 02:53PM
The way I understand it, Josh spent $405.89 for the 2009-2010 bag tag second order of 100 tags. That means the tags cost $4.06 each rather than $2.90. The #130 tag shown is for the 2010-2011 season, so it has nothing to do with the $405.89. Rather it came with 200 new tags for $3.13 each (626/200).
Re: SN Financial 2010

The quote bob used was from this years bid so I assumed if he's quoting this years quote he would be using that in reference to this years tags.

This is when I realized he was just putting together whatever he wanted to use (this years tag quote and using it against last years actual prices) and suggesting there is a problem with a discrepancy.

Gilly you are correct.

. Voted to accept Evan McKee's bid to make the 2009-2010 bag tags for $4 a piece. (FYI: The bid was not for $2.30 as stated on another forum due to an increase in pricing from last year.)

I see where my first search pulled the 2.30, but then found this where it explains the 4 dollars. Glad he is now back to 2.90.

Josh, sorry and thanks for posting the numbers!

The price was $2.90 each for the first 200 tags for 2009-2010 and they were paid for in 2009.

The price was $4.06 each for the second order of 100 tags for 2009-2010, paid for in 2010.

The price was $3.13 each for 200 tags for 2010-2011.

I thought ladies tags where free? and do they have numbers on them? and 88 are missing

Re: SN Financial 2010

I know when you sell a tag to a lady she get 2, 1 for the SN and 1 for SN ladies tags, but I think we still have to buy them....Yes they do have numbers on them.

I knew the answer Sunshine! But I am also curious how many where bought. For every womens tag sold the profit for the series is 14 dollars. As Evan said he sells them @ 2.90 so 2@3=6-20=14

To claim this is where the 161 tags went is just a way to try and hide what has realy happened as we still have 88 unaccounted for. And from the look of Jims picture I see no womens tag in the picture.
