As of Friday these were the 15 SN tournaments that I haven't received SN fees for yet.

South Mississippi Doubles Championship

Event was held August 11th of 2012.

We gave away the Advanced Masters entry fee to the SNDC to Dan Workman & Danny Heathco at this tournament.

Supposing this event goes delinquent all the way through the end of the season, i.e. never pays thier fees, I would like an opinion on whether we should revoke these winnings.

On one hand, I hate to penalize the players who paid their entry and won the tournament fair and square.

On the other hand, if the event never pays thier sanctioning fees, it wasn't really an SN tournament and free entry to one of the year end championship events shouldn't be awarded at what becomes a non SN event.

Ancient Chinese wisdom...

Back Bay Battle not being paid was my fault and not Eric Day's. It was my responsibility and Eric reminded me to pay it within a day or two of the event. Sorry that it was not paid, the check will be in the mail today.

Also, I was not on the BOD until more than a month after the event. Not that it matters, it was bad form regardless and I will not allow it to happen in the future.

Any particular reason why the BoD is allowing Jim Orum to advertise his tournament this weekend when he skipped out on paying his SN fees for the last one which is long past the 30 day deadline? Another delinquent BoD member, I guess it's just too much too ask for this BoD to pay its bills or enforce its own rules. Shame.

he's actually way past the 60 day deadline as well. Didn't know anything about the "30 day deadline"

Jacques/Keith, the event that was held last August that we have not received SN fees for has been removed from SN results. The event is no longer an SN event. When the SN has received the $100 in SN fees from Chris Grace will then move this back as a SN event.

In that case, would someone with contact information for Dan Workman and/or Danny Heathco please send it to me via PM. I would like to get in touch with them and explain the situation.

Where might we look to see the August 9 update? The latest one I can find is July 11th.

So the SN is incapable of telling its supporting players and TDs how much money went to the 2013 SNCs, and how much went elsewhere?

Okay, I'm going to guess that "projected" that JK posted turned out to be the actual amounts sent to the SNCs? Anyone care to verify that, perhaps the new treasurer?

And I found the August 9 update but it only pertains to this season, not last.

Well, I guess the phrase "you pays ya money and you takes ya chances" could be the new SN motto :)

To what are you referring, mike? what info are you looking for? The previous treasurer left the country, and the new treasurer is doing his best to gather the info, but he does not have all the same access at this time that JK had. We are working on that. Instead of bashing, why don't you just tell me what you want to know, and we will work on gathering that info.

Don't know if can ask any clearer. But I guess I should try:

So, Mr. Nickel, do you consider asking questions about what became of all the fees to be bashing? I'm the treasurer of my club, and when someone asks where the money goes I send them the club excel file that lists all receipts and all expenses in real time. I can tell you to the penny within 5 minutes. I don't say, are you bashing me?

Don't worry Mr. Nickel. I know it's the past BoD who were too lazy to hold meetings, too lazy apparently to talk to JK enough before he went overseas, and too lazy to take the hour or two to design and order bag tags for this season. I know who got us in this pig sty. I wonder though do you intend to do something about it? Or are you still under the Hogman's spell?
Re: SN Treasurer State of the SN Account - Updated 11 July 2013

well we have had 3 meetings in 12 days of being BOD members, JK turned over the spreadsheets, but access to the accounts is taking a lil longer, we are getting them from him, as soon as he responds we will be able to do a full report. You know me well enough to know that I am person, who speaks his mind, and gets things, done, so to answer your question, yes I am doing something about it. WE are a new BOD, and cannot be held responsible for the past board's decisions.

And no I dont consider asking questions bashing sir, I consider the little comments you make at the end of your posts bashing.

The SNDC received two checks.

One was for $2,255.50 of which $2,215.50 was SN fees for 17 doubles tournaments and $40 was for the entry fee of one participant won during the bag tag drawings conducted last season.

The second was for $120, all of which was for the entry fees received from 2 doubles tournaments after the first check was mailed.

Three doubles tournament's fees went unpaid for last season as far as the monies received by the recent championship in Lafayette is concerned. I can't speak to whether any of these tournaments have settled up since then.

Here was the amount sent to the TDs of each of the SN Championships:

SNAC - TD Zack Hudson
Check 1101 - $5951.75
Check 1105 - $568.75

SNDC - TD Jacques
Check 1102 - $2255.50 ($2215 sn fees collected / $40 for one pd entry fee bag tag drawing)
Check 1103 - $120

SNPC - Clayton Nash
Check 1107 - $5614
(SN fees $2954 / bag tag money $2000 / from SN board $500 / $160 for two pd entry fee bag tag drawing) (Actually collected for bag tag sold was $2180, I accidently shorted Clayton $180, just realized it today)

Total SN fees sent to the SN Championships = $11809.50 (collected was $11,812.50, someone was shorted $3 somewhere)

Expenses
Check 1100 $539.19 / SN bag tag discs
Check 1106 - $343.35 / SN points discs
Check 1108 - $167.09 / SN End of the Year Awards
Check 1109 - $100 / SN bag tag discount at snac/snpc (given to Clayton Nash at the SNAC. $45 was for the 9 players at the SNAC, Zack told me to give it to the SNPC. $55 was an estimate of 11 pro players asking for the bag tag discout, not sure what the final number for the SNPC was).
$120 - SN Bag tag basket drawing (won by Glen Fendley)
$60 - mailing expenses for mailing out SN bag tag discs to players
$500 - SN Board funds donated to the SNPC to help cover PDGA fees (mentioned above).
$200 - Paid entry fee for three players (1 sndc / 2 snpc, mentioned above)
Total = $1849.63

SN board fees collected 2012-2013 season = $1687.50 (the overage in expenses came out of the extra in the SN account which based on my last treasury report was $1,549.97).

I have not been on the forum in a long while. Sorry for this. I will have an updated financial later this week after christmas. I have been keeping up with the money well. I will have to get all my logs in order to post. Hope that helps. Meeting minutes will continue to be posted after the next meeting we have after the first of the year.

I understand that the position of Treasurer is a voluntary position....and that careers and family come first....but three weeks have passed. If there are problems with the data...or the workload...all you have to do is ask. I'm sure a disc golfer in your area would take the time to sit down with you and help get this information out.

or maybe you Warlord should take over the SN Treasurer position. Surly you would have time to do it. As much time as you spend hounding and complaining.. it would fit right in your schedule

If you take my posts as "hounding and complaining" I think you may be thinking of someone else. I have asked about this subject in a professional manner, and will continue to do so.
