A few suggestion I feel would be good (if possible) for the forum.

1) must have a valid email address to sign up to use the forum. When players register a temporary password is sent to the email address they listed in order to first sign on, then they can change their password. I don't know how hard this is, but if it's not too much trouble it might be a good thing to consider.

2) Players MUST be signed in to post a message on the forum. No more postings from people not signed in. If they are not signed in then you cannot see their profile.

3) Requirements to be in profile. First name, email address. This way people can still make/change their post name to what ever they want, but we would still be able to know who it was.


Like I said, I don't know how hard/easy this is, but IMO it's a good idea.

So you wanna do away with anonymous postings?

You might run into some resistance with that from those who love to talk smack without letting anyone know who they are.

Already has been addressed and was supposed to be taken care of but.....

I thought even if you post an anonymous posting to a forum, some people know it was you.

Only if they are logged in. I can not log in on my laptop - get some sort of wierd garbled error, so I have to post with no info. The call numbers are one way to tell, but if someone else posts on their compter.

But I do think this is a good idea.
