Well, my little Xavier dudes tried their hardest, but were beaten by the superior team. It was obvious that the 3 pointer well would eventually run dry. Fun to watch, though.

Well I am torn between my chance of winning this pool and my daughter's chance of winning another pool we are in. If Duke wins their next game she will win a pool with 65 people in it. If WVU wins their next game and then loses in the finals I am tied for this one. I guess I am pulling for Duke with being said the 300.00 she wins help me by not having to give her money so it's a win win for me.

I kept looking after each round, and the only person I was ever beating is the one who didn't bother to fill out a bracket. That was all the way up to the Elite 8. And then, the Duke revolution began.

Never give up. Never say die. If you're in last going into the Elite 8, don't crumple up your bracket and throw it away (which I did, actually). Until your champion team is defeated, you always have a shot. There's always a path to victory - as long as you're the only person to pick the eventual winner.

This more than makes up for my poor showing in the bowl pick 'em.
