The real candidates are Richardson and Luck..Not taking anything away from HB...BUT as a candidate, he is in the back of the pack.

I feel pretty good about Richardson winning.

The current predictions for heisman are:

1- RG3
2- Luck
3- Richardson

Hope their wrong, but its hard to beat RG's stats. Pretty impressive QB....

2) Trent R. -54
3)Andrew Lck- 45

I agree DeanO RG3 has had a great year for Baylor!!! That's right Baylor. Without him Baylor is not even in a Bowl.

I agree with you on that one Keith. No RG III = No Bowl.

Luck will win, not because he's better than Richardson, but because Mathieu takes SEC-based Heisman votes away from him, and Luck has no competition in the PAC-?. Also, I don' think they want to give it to another Alabama RB so soon.

As for the smack talk, let it not be said that I didn't "go for it" this season, laying it on the line, risking humiliation - all before games were played.

But, that's because we're just better than you, and we take what we want. See you then. I will be there.

According to most stuff online not related to any of the schools said candidates play for, it is starting to look like RGIII in a runaway.
Re: NCAA FOOTBALL 2011
December 09, 2011 01:12PM
Based on the radio shows I've listened to, there is a late RG3 push going, and Mathieu's late surge will further hurt Richardson. Luck is a better player, but maybe needed more sensational highlights. We'll see.
Re: NCAA FOOTBALL 2011
December 09, 2011 01:55PM
isn't it 36 touchdown tosses and 30 of 'em are 29 yds or longer.......is that stat for real???

if it is, Griff's got it!!

Heck, that's before any of his runs are taken into account - and Luck is a great QB - likely will go higher in the draft, but like a post above references - Luck is surrounded by Stanford and HB is surrounded by.......well........BAYLOR!!!!!

Both are very smart QB's, RG3 has like 9 rush td's compared to Lucks 2.

Well I said before that I thought Alabama had the better team but I said LSU would win the game. And I still think Bama has the better team. But this time I think Bama will win.

I'd bet the Colts will get "Lucky"........

But they could use a RB in training too......
Re: NCAA FOOTBALL 2011

He ain't Newton. Luck will be, barring injury, ten times better in the NFL. But, that's also probably why he doesn't deserve the Heisman. By most accounts, Luck has been going 3/4 all year, with a couple of exceptions.
Re: NCAA FOOTBALL 2011
December 14, 2011 12:35PM
I agree....whomever gets Luck will be VERY happy. Playing a NFL style offense has made him ready for the pros.

Guess no one has mentioned that for the first time in history, both of the AP All American team's starting cornerbacks are from the same school. Congrats to the haters. Single coverage never looked so sweet. Keep dreaming, Forrest.

Shame. Our best guys aren't even on that list. Oh well. Youth is just not served this time.

But it's really all about the matchups, Forrest. Maze, et al, just ain't good enough, and it's not like whatshisnuts is going to have forever to deliver it either. By the fourth quarter, the OL will feel just about the same as, by all accounts, they did last time. Rematches are primarily about one thing, and we have more of it than you do.

But I'll explain it all in a future post. Everything will be clear to you then.
