So Brad you think it's great that in 2011, there were 7 women and 1st place won $350. In 2012, there were 11 women, that could possibly a record, and 1st place won 300$. Please feel free to explain how you consider that a "great" payout??

Robby I'm not too sure that I know you. But I will say this if you think it's ok for the 2011 winner to win more money with not only less women but less people at the tournament then you might want to get yourself checked. I totally understand the stress running a tournament can be. I ran a tournament, and although it might not have been as big I know that those who helped run that tournament with me can tell you where every penny went. I also understand with playing out more spots. But there were 11 women and top 4 paid out. Something doesn't quite add up and I was just hoping that someone could fill in the blanks

Is it possible to get a break down of the payouts? I am not trying to cause conflict, I am just curious how in 2011 there are 7 women and the winner of 2012 when there are 11 women gets paid less than the winner of 2011? If this was in fact the biggest howler, then I don't believe the payouts reflected it. I had a great time at the tournament. Congrats to all the winners. Can't wait till next

Thank you every one for you concern, thoughts and prayers. Surgery went well. Saturday was pure heck for me. But today ( Sunday) is going much better. I am thankful to have so many people that care about me. I will keep everyone posted. I am going to try to make an appearance at the Holwer so I can hopefully see everyone. Well I will be unable to attend this year. I just found out this past Friday that I have torn my ACL. I will plan on having surgery sometime in september. I really hate that I am going to miss it. But good luck to everyone.

I am planning on coming. I have to make sure I can get off work and make sure my knee is going to be ok. I am going to the doctor today to see if and when I am going to have to have surgery. : ( My game plan is to be there though!!!

Putting for Perkins - 2 years ago

This is a benefit tournament for Emma Perkins, a 3 year old who was diagnosed with leukemia. All proceeds will go to the chemo treatments. The pro divisions will be paid in cash. The winner of the Pro Men Division will win a trip to Panama City Beach, vauled at 550.00. The trip will include a condo, parasailing trip and a jet ski ride for two. All non-pro division will be paid in donations.

I do however have one question, it was mentioned to me that since we did not play a full 2nd round that we would not recieve our Southern National Points. I heard that there was some question at another tournament not too long ago in Arkansas, I believe. I was just wondering if it was possible to get some official word. Thank you again

Well I think that if we could get a serious work day at the boug then the extra holes will be ready to play. Then if we have the temp 18 out in the field we should be ok. Not to mention, there are extra places that we could possible make a few extra holes if needed. But all I understand is, there are many people that are not happy with the way things are going. I have been told that there is a temp course being set up at chickasaw. I just would like to know where we are playing. As far as where people are staying, there are people trying to get more campsites opened up. But Lynn I am sure you are talking about a host hotel, I have heard nothing about that.
