Cecil is running (at the request of the city) a charity event with the proceeds going to Relay For Life. It will be on Saturday the 27th at Steele Creek Lodge in Satsuma, AL. 18 holes per round and 2 rounds. The course only has 9 holes which will be played twice per round. It is also AM divisions only. NO pro (cash paying) divisions will be offered. Entry fee is $20. Standard tourney stuff

Hole #1 Municipal Park - 1992, Red Roc that I had found a couple of days earlier. All it had on the bottom was Skip Warning. I thought it was a note reminding them that it skips. No one else was around when I aced except for some dude over by the boards. I said "Hey man, I just aced this hole!" He says "cool". A couple of weeks later I'm at a tournament and see that guy.

Every player has a personal par that they play against. This was determined previously. Whatever you beat your individual par by is your score. If your par is 83 and you shoot 80, you ended up -3 on the round. If Climo's was 65 and he shot a 62, he was -3 for the round. They definitely don't put any of the money into "their" event - The PDGA Championships. The Advanced Men and Women paid a $100 entry fee. There were 68 Adv players total. The event paid out to them $2153. The entry fees were $6800 from Adv. Roughly a $4600 difference. Talk about moving money over. Wow. The Adv player beat 61 other players and his winnings doubled his entry fee.
