You left off Jonesboro's "Battle in the Boro". Our first tourney was Oct 15, 2011, 72 players, $3970 and last year, Oct 6, 2012 we drew in 89 players, $4335. This year we hope for even more players and cash!!by lmeyers - General Discussion

Am is the opposite of pro. If you don't play pro, then you play Am. Am is split into Advanced and Intermediate (not including age groups). The big confusion comes when people call Intermediate players "Ams" because advanced players are also "Ams"... I don't see why it's so hard to use the terms correctly, but that's just my opinion.by lmeyers - SN Tournament Information

Crawdaddy did an awesome job as TD!!! We all had a great time as expected. Special thanks to Danny and Barbara for letting us play in your backyard and the hill looked great. I agree with Doug, multiple score cards per hole is a very easy answer. Makes for a little more tourney expense and a little more paper for the TD to deal with, but if it helps keep people honest, it's worth it. If you can't get multiple cards at a tourney, keep your own card. Only one type of person would have any issue with someone keeping a second card....by lmeyers - General Discussion

Lol! Seriously funny (the above post!!) I have always wondered why intermed payout was the highest and the answer was always that entrants were highest. So if entry was the same as advanced maybe divisions would even out. I'm for trying it at our tourney next year for sure. All pro was the same, why not all Am. We had a great time at the tournament. Everything was ran very smoothly. Ring of fire was very fun! Good job on the courses and TD's did a great job. does anyone know who won the Road Warrior drawing? I was busy and didn't get to hear or see their trophy. Maybe they can post a pic of it either here or on fb...? Sean, I agree that 24/per round was a lot, especially with the chilly weather. But we decided ahead of time that we'd rather do that than have to turn anyone away.
