No....the sport would be the same...they are playing for a different type of prize. Nothing is changing during their round. I was just asking so we could have another tishomingo tournament. But I hope someone steps up because idk who is going to. I would not need Jonathan on a cash tournament. Jonathan is a vendor and I could have done the payouts and everything at my event. I would not feel right if I did the payouts for someone elses products. I did not make a dime off of my event and you could tell by the payout. Jonathan was a great help for the event and yes did most of the work towards the payout and helped a lot with the boardsby dustin morris - General Discussion

You are right eric. I was waiting on someone to post that rule. What if I hosted one as a trial for SN? If we can play in the dark and play with 1 frisbee....I think this would be more professional than both of those. For that event, they are considered a pro only because of the payout. The competition will still be the same....if a pro player hasn't cashed in open and moves down....thats fine, they could have done that at any event. If you have a awsome payout, they will move down, cash or not.by dustin morris - General Discussion

If 2 intermediate players goes to a doubles event and chooses to play pro for some reason. If they win, they can play the next weekend in intermediate if they would like. If that is possible, then paying out ams in doubles events should be possible as well because they both recieved cash and did not change their am status.by dustin morris - General Discussion

vendor fee isn't the problem, its extra things we have to calculate because every disc we are going to have to calculate taxes on. Every bit of food is going to have to be calculated. It will hurt the payout by at leaste $200. Cash will allow all of that to go toward a payout. I do not see an issue with a doubles event paying out ams with cash. You could even have it where the ams get paid out with closer increments. Just a quick example with only 2 divisions mentioned: 5 Open teams= $60 entry = total $300 + 200 added cash 1st= $300 2nd= $200 20 Intermediate= $50 entry = 1000 + 50 added cash 1st= $150 2nd=$140 3rd=$130 4th=$120 5th=$110 6th=$100 7th=$90 8th=$80 9th=$70 10th=$60by dustin morris - General Discussion

I am trying to find a way that we can still have a fall classic at tishomingo.... Where do you work Wayne? Everywhere I have worked, if there is a problem, we solve it together. Always starts issues because no one is going to agree. Yes it does start "drama", but what I have learned at work is for issues not to get to me. If someone doesn't like my idea, I don't get mad, I try to prove why my idea is efficient.
